Due to the substantial growth of activities within the HRNSW Finance team, HRNSW has a fantastic opportunity for a suitable candidate to join the team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Officer, the full-time position of Accounts Officer will be responsible for providing a wide range of assistance to the Finance team, including:
- Daily cash application, including deposits at branch
- Manual invoicing
- Answer queries from customers following the fortnightly stakes run, process bank account changes and credit card payments
- Statewide Stakes Payment Processing
- Stakes Rejected Payment follow ups
- Daily Race Data Imports
- International payments
- Account reconciliations
- Club invoicing
- Reception relief
- Other duties as required
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with NetSuite or similar program is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good inter-personal skills and the commitment to working in a team environment
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Self-motivated with an ability to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- An understanding of the Harness Racing industry is desirable, however not essential
This role will be based in the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
