The Cavalor Equicare Tasmanian Derby and Cavalor Equicare Tasmanian Oaks will now be held on Tuesday in the twilight timeslot in Hobart.

Both races were part of the six races from Sunday’s meeting that were postponed due to the state of the track.

The race order will remain as originally scheduled.

  • R1: 16:49 Felbergs Produce Sprintlane Pace (Sky 2)
  • R2: 17:24 Cavalor Equicare Tasmanian Oaks (Sky 1)
  • R3: 17:55 David Medhurst Memorial (Sky 2)
  • R4: 18:27 Cavalor Equicare Tasmanian Derby (Sky 1)
  • R5: 18:55 Smithawards Pace (Sky 2)
  • R6: 19:22 Morey’s Tours Pace (Sky 2).

Horses that were already scratched will remain scratched, while horses in the final fields can scratch penalty-free.

The three races run on Sunday were all won by junior drivers.

Liam Older won the TTC Life Members Graduate on the Todd Rattray-trained Qualify (pictured), before winning on Sapphire Gambler for the Wayne Yole Stable.

Tambros Tilly recorded a narrow win in the only other race run, with Kayleb Williams in the sulky.
