One of the rising stars of the Australian liquor industry – travla – has teamed up with Harness Racing New South Wales as the official beer partner for its game-changing Carnival of Cups series.
The partnership springs to life at next Friday’s Carnival of Cups race meeting in Tamworth, which doubles as one of the official opening night events of the world-renowned Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Harness Racing New South Wales is this year an official partner of the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Founded by Australian actor Travis Fimmel, the star of ratings hits such as Vikings, Dune: Prophecy, Black Snow and Boys Swallows Universe, travla will be the official and exclusive beer supplier at both Tamworth and next month’s Carnival of Cups meeting in Albury. His good friend, Masterchef Australia judge Andy Allen is also a co-founder of the travla brand.
Patrons will be able to enjoy a cold travla lager as Australian music royalty Daryl Braithwaite headlines the Tamworth event.
Multi-award winning artist Travis Collins, The Voice Australia star Tori Darke, sibling trio The Buckleys and local favourite Kyle Cartner will also be bringing their talents to the trackside stage.
The travla brand will then move onto Albury on 14 February for a high-octane rock show headlined by Birds of Tokyo and The Superjesus. Both events are free for the public to attend.
“We are delighted to be welcoming travla into the Carnival of Cups tent as not just a beer supplier but as part of the exciting story that we are continuing to create and build upon at events across New South Wales over the past 18 months,” HRNSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman said.
“Just as the Carnival of Cups is creating a reputation and leaving a legacy in regional townships, travla has the same values in wanting to create opportunities and give back to country communities, so it is a great fit and we’re delighted to be partnering together.”
“travla is a welcome addition to the growing list of corporate partners that Harness Racing New South Wales is attracting. It is important to note that our move to revamp the Carnival of Cups in mid-2023 has allowed us to have conversations with high-end corporate partners such as travla.”
The travla brand was formed by Fimmel and a group of his mates with a view to working with country communities. The company has recently been at philanthropic leader, supporting charity Farm Angels in its Flanno for a Farmer campaign.
