Harness Racing New South Wales is pleased to announce the return of its e-Gazette, with the digital publication set to be released every two months to keep participants and fans connected with the latest news, features and achievements from across the state's harness racing industry.
The revamped e-Gazette has been developed in response to feedback from industry participants and stakeholders, providing a dedicated platform to celebrate the people, horses and events that make NSW harness racing one of Australia's strongest racing jurisdictions.
The inaugural edition is packed with feature stories, industry insights and exclusive interviews from across the state.
Readers can relive some of the biggest moments of the past few months, including Captains Mistress' historic Inter Dominion triumph, the success of the inaugural Nutrien Finals Series at Wagga's Riverina Paceway and the exciting Trot NSW Finals Night.
The publication also looks ahead to an exciting spring and summer carnival, previewing Season 4 of the Carnival of Cups and the return of The TAB Eureka, while reflecting on the outstanding achievements recognised at the recent Harness Racing NSW Awards.
Among the feature profiles are mini-trots graduate Milla Sutton and respected industry identities Darren Binskin and veteran horseman Harry Martin. High-profile owner Emilio Rosati shares his passion for the sport in an exclusive interview.
The magazine also shines a spotlight on the Eugowra Harness Racing Club, recognising the important role country clubs continue to play in the strength and sustainability of the industry, while columnist Paul Courts takes readers on a entertaining stroll down Memory Lane.
Harness Racing NSW Chairman Doug Freeman said the return of the e-Gazette was driven by feedback from the industry's participants.
"One of the consistent messages we've received from participants and stakeholders is that they want a publication that keeps them informed and celebrates the many positive stories happening throughout our industry," Mr Freeman said.
"We've listened to that feedback and the return of the e-Gazette is our response. This publication will provide regular updates every two months and ensure the achievements of our participants, clubs and communities are recognised and shared across the state."
Mr Freeman said the publication would showcase every facet of harness racing in New South Wales.
"Harness racing is about so much more than what happens on the racetrack. It's about the people, the clubs, the volunteers, the owners, breeders, trainers and drivers who work tirelessly to make our industry what it is."
"The e-Gazette gives us the opportunity to tell those stories, celebrate success, look ahead to the major events on our calendar and highlight the important work being done across New South Wales."
The e-Gazette will be published every two months and will be available free through the Harness Racing NSW website and digital channels.
