Kevin Seymour gains recognition from Sports Ministers in Queensland and SA

Brisbane harness racing breeder, owner and benefactor Kevin Seymour has drawn praise from Ministers in the Queensland and South Australian Governments after being awarded the 2026 Caduceus Club Living Legend by Harness Racing Victoria.

Seymour, who has been a key figure in the sport at national and State levels for more than 40 years, was recognised by the Hon. Tim Mander MP, the Queensland Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“This is one of many achievements in your career and as one of our long-standing leaders in commerce and racing industry, I am very pleased to see your contributions continuing to be recognised both within and beyond Queensland’s borders.

“Your unwavering support as an owner, breeder and administrator in the harness racing industry is unparalleled. I wish you further success with your, and Kaye’s, great champion Leap To Fame and many more great horses in the future,” Mander wrote.

The Hon. Rhiannon Pearce MP, the SA Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing:

“I write to extend my warmest congratulations on being awarded the Caduceus Living

Legend Award from Harness Racing Victoria.

“This prestigious honour recognises the outstanding contributions of key industry
