Jordan Chibnall celebrated her first official four-win haul at a single meeting in Launceston on Sunday afternoon.

An earlier four-timer she achieved late last year was subsequently denied after one of her winners was disqualified.

Wearing a black armband for the passing of her cousin Callum Smail earlier in the week, her Launceston quartet included a double for the Conor Crook stable, kicking off with Barnaby ($1.75 fav) in the Vizpix Broadcast Services Pace (1680m).

The gelded son of Panspacificflight, who was first up in the state, used the most of the inside gate to lead all the way in 1:56.2s.

“He is injury-plagued, so it was pleasing to see what he did on Sunday, as he is an eight-year-old who was only having his eleventh race start after previously having two bowed tendons.

“Hopefully, he can keep doing what he is doing, as he is going to be pretty smart, I reckon,” said the driver post-race.

“It was the first time I had driven him. Conor had done all the work with him at home.

Chibnall also partnered the Crook-trained Wazowski ($2.10 fav) to her second win of the week, after scoring in Hobart on Friday.

Her other winners were Our Willow ($10) and Chris Be Quick ($8.00)

Earlier in the day, Rockandahardplace ($4.80) led home a training quinella for trainer Kent Rattray in The Bottle-O Hadspen Stakes (2200m).

Five-point concession claim driver Malcom Jones drove a confident race when finiding the lead in the early stages, racing away late to score by 13.3m in a mile rate of 2:00.0s.

It was the first win of the season for Rockandahardplace, who appreciated a drop in class on recent racing, with the gelding's prize-money earnings now just under $200,000 following the win.
