The 28-lot catalogue for the 2026 Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale at Redcliffe Paceway on Sunday, March 29 features the progeny of 16 different stallions, from proven big names to first-season sires and up-and-comers who are beginning to make their mark.

The Top Ten sires Downbytheseaside, Rock N Roll Heaven and A Rocknroll Dance are all represented along with the established colonial bred stallions For A Reason, Bling It On and Raging Bull.

There’s stock from the emerging young sires Stay Hungry, Captain Crunch, Ride High, The Storm Inside and Captn Midnight, while the three-time Queensland Horse of the Year Colt Thirty One is represented by his second crop.

The sale also features two fillies from the initial crop of the North America Cup winner and USA and Canadian 3YO Colt of the Year Pebble Beach and a gelding from the final crop of the NZ Jewels winner and NZ Cup placegetter Franco Nelson.

Horses sold at the sale are all eligible for the 2YO Redcliffe Sale Race Classic in 2027 and the 3YO Classic in 2028, carrying minimum prizemoney of $175,000.

Most of the yearlings are eligible for the lucrative QBred Scheme offering $4 million in stakemoney and bonuses. They are also paid up for State-based breeding schemes such as Vicbred, NSW Breeders Challenge, Bathurst Gold Crown and Cobbitty Equine Classic.

Hard copies of the catalogue are available at the Redcliffe, Albion Park and Marburg tracks and Garrard’s Horse & Hound stores or phone Ebert & Co on 0404 050 483. The catalogue is available online at ebertauctioneers.com.au/yearlingsale.php
