R1 – 5:53pm – Hygain Pace - 1609m

2 – Luvtobeuptome

9 – Cyclone Jenni

7 – Bella Louise

6 – All Things Spicy

Strategy:

Luvtobeuptome is a talented 2YO who’s shown tremendous speed and natural ability in just three career runs, but he’s also proven quite raw with his manners. After a short freshen-up, his recent Melton trial was nothing short of outstanding, coming from the tail in a sizzling last half. This is no easy race, but he gives every indication he’s a horse going places.

BACK: 2 Luvtobeuptome – 5 Units (win)

R2 – 6:27pm – Kruzey.com.au Cash Splash Pace – 2080m

9 – Illawong Phoenix

8 – Ima Charma

6 – Midnight Crimes

7 – Bettorsweetvictory

Strategy:

Illawong Phoenix finds herself back in a suitable grade after some strong runs in much quicker times than what most of these are capable of. While the map may not fall perfectly given she’s best in front, her honest and consistent form for trainer Luke Tabone reads very well for this class. With the right tempo, she can be too strong late.

BACK: 9 Illawong Phoenix – 2 Units (win)

R3 – 6:57pm – NZB Standardbred Cash Splash Pace – 1609m

8 – Treacheroustimes

6 – Self Exclusion

4 – Reinder

9 – Dot Ball

R4 – 7:27pm – Decron Horse Care Cash Splash Maiden Trot – 2080m

3 – Shinelikethesun

1 – Aldebaran Axl

8 – Joey Bee

2 – Narky Intellectual

Strategy:

Shinelikethesun is a 3YO filly debuting here, and if her trial performances are anything to go by, she’s more than capable of starting her career on a winning note. Trainer/driver Paul Morrissey gave her a solid hit-out in her recent Bendigo trial, where she showed good strength and fluent trotting action. She looks to have the talent and temperament to handle this field.

BACK: 3 Shinelikethesun – 3 Units (win)

R5 – 7:59pm – Mark Gurry & Associates Cash Splash Pace – 1609m

7 – Fearless Writer

4 – Ferrigno

6 – Strapping Red

3 – Starlight Sass

R6 – 8:34pm – Aldebaran Park Trot – 2080m

2 – Mont Sally

3 – Against The Bridle

1 – Silent Reverie

7 – Right Of Reply
