After more than two decades as the trusted voice of Tasmanian harness racing analysis, Jamie Cockshutt delivered his final preview with last Sunday’s meeting in Launceston.

As an owner, breeder and form analyst, Jamie’s name has been synonymous with Tasmanian harness for longer than many of the current junior drivers have been alive.

Due to increasing time commitments with his business, Jamie has opted to put down the form tools, leaving a significant hole to fill, given that Jamie’s analysis was often shared across the web, in newspapers, and on the radio.

While thanking Jamie for his considerable service to Tasmanian racing, Tasracing are pleased to introduce Will Norman, who will be sharing his form analysis from Sunday’s meeting in Hobart on 7 September.

With a family background in racing and bookmaking, Will is recognised as a sharp judge who learned many of the fundamentals of form assessment and pricing markets from a young age, which he still applies today.

It is the intention that Will’s analysis will cover many of the previous placements filled by Jamie, including Tasracing, harness.org.au, Tasmanian newspapers, and wagering service providers.
