A post raffle draw for ticket holders who paid early bird Western Australian Standardbred Breeders Association memberships for 2025/26 conducted last Friday included a free service to exciting, young stallion Copy That, who is standing his first season at Murray Vets, West Coolup, near Perth.
The special promotion enabled ticket holders to take advantage of the fantastic opportunity to win a service to Copy That if they paid their membership by close of the raffle on August 20. WASBA memberships are due on September 1.
Two $1,000 service fee voucher draws, conducted after the raffle draw, were also included for members to use at studs sponsoring WASBA this season including Alabar Bloodstock, Allwood Stud, Decron Horse Care, Murray Vets, Westbred Pacing and Woodlands Stud.
WASBA uses the funds raised for supplementing stakemoney, breeder incentives and rehoming.
WASBA will also be conducting a small Stallion Tender which will close on September 7.
Copy That, the winner of six Group 1 races including two New Zealand Cups and the inaugural $1 million Race by Grins, will be parading at the Pinjarra meeting on September 8.
The American Ideal stallion is standing for a fee of $4,600 including GST with free shipment to all WA licensed AI premises and Qantas capital city sites.
