CANCELLED RACE MEETINGS

Albany

In response to the impact of the Covid 5 day lockdown and subsequent cancellation of race meetings RWWA is exploring options to reschedule the Albany race meeting.

Gloucester Park

The $50,000 Daintys Daughter feature race will be transferred to Friday 19th February.

It is not possible to add an additional metropolitan prime meeting to the racing calendar. To ensure the stakes from Friday’s cancelled meeting are returned to the industry a total of nine additional metropolitan staked races will be added to the race card at times when nominations allow during the season.

Pinjarra

Similar to the GP scenario, it is not possible to add an additional Provincial 1 race meeting to the racing calendar.  To ensure the stakes from the abandoned meeting on Monday are returned to the industry a total of nine additional provincial staked races will be added to the Pinjarra or GP Midweek race card at times when nominations allow during the season.
