Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Chasing a hat-trick of wins after successive victories at the mile, SWEET MIA (6) will need to be at her best to defy the tough draw. Rolling forward from a second line gate and grinding out a tough win last time from the chair, she can roll the sleeves again to stake her claim.

SWEET AGENDA (5) is better suited when allowed to roll forward and last time out an inside second line gate hampered her chances. Finding the from gate 7 the start prior before fading, she can look to fire the early bullets and from the front will throw down the challenge.

MISS FROUFROU (2) will strip fitter from her latest outing where she was resuming from a break. Beaten by gate 7, an improved alley to show her early speed looks more favourable.

LADY DIGBY (3) had the closing speed to arrive last time after retreating in the early stages for position. Not too far from GODLEN FIRE three starts back, she can settle handy and chime in.

SELECTIONS: SWEET MIA (6), SWEET AGENDA (5), MISS FROUFROU (2), LADY DIGBY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET MIA (6) to win

RACE TWO

With four wins in 10 appearances here at The Creek, BIGGER THE BETTOR (2) lands the gate to be handy enough to the action and chase a fifth victory. Looking for short cuts last time when 5m astern of BRONSKI ZULU, he was beaten a head the start prior. This is within reach.

DEEBO (1) could not get warm last week from the second line over the middle trip when finishing nearer the rear. Placed his previous three in succession, with all three from wide front-line gates, the improved alley cannot be underestimated for this battle.

MIGHTY JOLT (8) stepped safely away in a standing start event two starts back and was able to keep them chasing through a smart last 800. A soft trip can see him probing the gaps here.

ALTA SENSATION (6) was a midweek winner from the standing start when stepping and leading throughout and then last time was 4m from SEND IT when taking the trail. He is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: BIGGER THE BETTOR (2), DEEBO (1), MIGHTY JOLT (8), ALTA SENSATION (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BIGGER THE BETTOR (2) to win

RACE THREE

Hitting the board in three of four since returning from 12 months off the scene, ELLIS STREET (1) secures the right gate to chase a second win since the comeback. Carving out a sizzling tempo in front last week at the mile when grabbed late by IN EXCESS, he can look to fend them off here.

STORYTELLER (8) was angled to the inside here last week from outside the second line and chasing the shorter way home was just behind the placings when 7m astern of the winner. With the mapping favours to follow the leader, he will be closer and ready to strike in the stretch.

BRONSKI ZULU (9) was shuffled to three fence from inside the second line last week over this same trip. Closing hard to arrive for the W, a similar trip should present here to chase a repeat.

IN EXCESS (10) was tucked away three back at the mile last week as ELLIS STREET blazed the path in front. Finding space and charging hard to arrive, he can be joining in again here.

SELECTIONS: ELLIS STREET (1), STORYTELLER (8), BRONSKI ZULU (9), IN EXCESS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-8-9-10

RACE FOUR

Placed at his past three in succession, TURN IT UP (7) shows no signs of losing any of his speed. Holding the front easily before releasing last week, he was under 3m from THE JANITOR. Running WISPER A SECRET to a head the start prior, he will be hard to stop as he homes in on the $1m milestone.

BIRKIRKARA (8) will be relying on some factors in his favour to find open space to issue the challenge. Scoring a 10th win on this deck last week when finding the front, dictating and punching it out with a 54.2 last 800m, he will be searching for open space.

ARODA (6) has been runner-up in both starts since returning from a spell, at the mobile and then from the tapes. Chasing home LEAP TO FAME first up, the gate stings for this assignment.

OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (2) fired out to take up the lamp lighting duties last start in a midweek contest and from the front was never headed. A winner at three of his past five, this is a step up.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (7), BIRKIRKARA (8), ARODA (6), OUR SUNSET DELIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP (7) to win

RACE FIVE

The October NR75 Consolation brings together an even pack where tempo will be key to some of the lesser drawn chances. I GOT CHILLS (10) was in super form and won a heat of the September Series in smart fashion before a torrid trip in that Final. 6m away from a wide gate two starts back, he can capitalise.

GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1) is slowly building towards peak fitness after five runs back. Strong to the line last start from a second line gate and finishing 2m astern of the winner LADY DIGBY, he maps for the ideal trip from this gate to issue the challenge at his preferred distance.

EAGLESPRIDE (2) is in career best form, with three wins in his past five starts. Sticking to the inside last week, he darted through to arrive in the last stride and can feature again here.

LUVBITE (8) will need some luck to find the gaps but should appreciate a softer trip after wide gates at his past three starts. If the space opens when needed, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: I GOT CHILLS (10), GLENEAGLE VEE CEE (1), EAGLESPRIDE (2), LUVBITE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: I GOT CHILLS (10) to win

RACE SIX

Always competitive contests, this latest 75Final brings together some in-form and firing horses. FERNCO NEL (5) has won five of seven since arriving with the new stable and let down strongly from back in the pack to claim his heat. With early speed, he can get forward to take his shot.

SOHO CASABLANCA (3) has been runner-up at his past two in succession, the latest when trying to dictate from the front over the 2138 in a qualifier. Grabbed late by BRONSKI ZULU, the start prior, he set the 1.51.7 rate in front when beaten a neck. He can press on to throw it down.

TREMENDOUS SENSATION (1) has done a super job to date since arriving in Qld, and last start completed a hat-trick of victories. Winning his heat from the second line at Redcliffe, he can stalk the speed here.

MY ROCKY ROMANCE (8) will likely be snookered away and will be searching for gaps to attempt a closing raid. Chasing home FERNCO NEL in his heat, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: FERNCO NEL (5), SOHO CASABLANCA (3), TREMENDOUS SENSATION (1), MY ROCKY ROMANCE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FERNCO NEL (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

Placed at his past three starts, the latest from inside the second line, KASH TIN (4) might just have found the conditions to chase a breakthrough. Trying to fend them off here two starts back when setting the speed and grabbed late by BEYOND DOUBT, he can get forward to feature.

DOCTA FEELGOOD (2) burrowed through from the inside gate last week at 2138 and then took the trail. Aiming up for the passing lane in the stretch, he was making his play but pipped to his inside by EAGLESPRIDE when beaten a head in a blanket go. Early speed will help his claims.

MY ULTIMATE COBBER (1) eased from gate 5 to secure position last time out as a 56.1 opening half was put on the board from the front. With the fresh legs late, he arrived to score and receives the chance for a soft trip here.

KALASA (8) was looking to make a closing challenge here last week but had to settle for the bronze when a half-neck from the winner. With the threat of being buried, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: KASH TIN (4), DOCTA FEELGOOD (2), MY ULTIMATE COBBER (1), KALASA (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

A qualifier over the 2138m trip will sort a few of these mares out, with the middle trip credentials lacking for several. OUR PRINCESS DI (6) made the most of the perfect trip last start and cashed in to claim her first Qld win since arriving. Despite an awkward gate, she can repeat.

PLATINUM JEWEL (11) will need to negotiate another tough gate after starting from six and seven at her past two starts. Eased to the fence last time, she was closing smartly when not too far from the winner. Beaten a half-head three starts back, she will be looking to challenge.

BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (5) will strip fitter from her last start when returning from a spell with the bronze behind the flying BETTORS MOON. Positioning cheaply will be key to her chances.

WORKS FOR ME (12) was locked away last start and was just behind the placings as REELY NAUTI took the prize. With another second line gate to contend with, she will rely on tempo.

SELECTIONS: OUR PRINCESS DI (6), PLATINUM JEWEL (11), BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (5), WORKS FOR ME (12)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR PRINCESS DI (6) to win

RACE NINE

NOT AS PROMISED (5) was enormous in victory last time out at the mile. Pressing forward to sit parked, he did all the heavy lifting and then had the temerity to pull clear to take the W and a new track record. Two wins in three starts since returning from a spell, the defeat was by the barest possible margin over the 2647m. This will be a great showdown.

GUS (7) was taken to Menangle to find a race as he battles the clock to get some miles in the legs before a potential NZ trip. Scratchy off the tapes before closing in good order for the bronze, he should appreciate a return to his home deck and the small field will be in his favour.

GOLDEN SUNSET (4) showed hustle off the arm last start before easing in behind the leader. Holding on for the bronze to be 5m from the winner NOT AS PROMISED, she can get handy to feature again here.

MCGEE (2) has been a revelation since arriving in Qld and added another victory to the tally when leading throughout at Marburg last Sunday. Speed out of the machine will help as he steps up.

SELECTIONS: NOT AS PROMISED (5), GUS (7), GOLDEN SUNSET (4), MCGEE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: NOT AS PROMISED (5) to win

RACE TEN

A small field of six to do battle in this 2YO event where SITTING ON EIGHT (5) should appreciate a return to his own age. Capitalising in a similar event six runs back, all five since have been against open age performers, the latest here on Tuesday when 1m astern of the winner BRAVENTREACHEROUS. Despite the gate, he can chase career win three.

TIMMYTEO (1) backs up from the same race as SITTING ON EIGHT on Tuesday. Pressing on from gate 6 to sit parked, he faded in the closing stages to finish near the rear. Second up for that assignment, he resumed from a spell with a smart win from the front, with the gate a huge plus.

FITZROY (4) looks to be the biggest query in this small field, the Bettors Delight gelding making his first appearance on this side of the Tasman. Hitting the board in all four on the North Island of NZ, his two local trials suggest he will be a factor.

SELECTIONS: SITTING ON EIGHT (5), TIMMYTEO (1), FITZROY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SITTING ON EIGHT (5) to win
