Form Analysis by Darren Clayton
RACE ONE
Driven hard off the arm from gate 3 last time out, ITS ELECTRIFYING (2) was unable to get across to the front and was exposed early before receiving cover. Finishing under 3m from the winner, the start prior he was runner-up to the airborne DARIN and gets the chance to cash in.
MARVELLOUS MAC (1) secured a hat-trick of Redcliffe victories last start, all from gate 1 and all when leading throughout. Running some strong closing sectionals in each of those wins, this will be a tougher ask on a track where he is yet to hit the board. The gate is a huge asset.
WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (4) backs up from Tuesday where he scored a dominant win at the 2138 after finding the front and dictating. He can press forward to feature again here.
VINSANITY (3) was wide off the track from a wide gate at Redcliffe last start and held on for the silver. Gate 7 was his undoing the start prior and with the good gate, he can challenge in this.
SELECTIONS: ITS ELECTRIFYING (2), MARVELLOUS MAC (1), WAMBOYNEINAMERICA (4), VINSANITY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS ELECTRIFYING (2) to win
RACE TWO
Resuming from a spell here last week, OUR INDIFFERENCE (4) was slammed with gate 7 and taken back early was then facing too big a hurdle as ROCKET CITY carved out a sizzling mile in front. A dictating winner at his last run before the spell, second up can see him arrive.
COSMIC FLYER (1) tackled the 4YO E&G Triad two starts back and from this same gate was shuffled to three back and chimed in late for the bronze behind ATTAHCMENT. Not suited last week at the standing start, back to this set up and distance he can challenge.
SO SIRIUS (2) has faced second line gates at his past two starts, the latest when attacking the line strongly to arrive for victory and end a win drought. Confidence and an improved gate help.
CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (9) made the most of the pocket trail two starts back and when angled to the passing lane, darted through to take victory. Tempo will assist his claims.
SELECTIONS: OUR INDIFFERENCE (4), COSMIC FLYER (1), SO SIRIUS (2), CHECKNOUTTHETALENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR INDIFFERENCE (4) to win
RACE THREE
Yet to miss a top-three finish in four starts since arriving in the Sunshine State, STRIKEM (4) finds conditions to cash in for this 75Final. Forced to grind it out first over in his heat when finishing a half-head short of victory, he can force he issue here to capitalise.
BEACHRIDE (9) would have slept well last Saturday after a torrid trip three wide from outside the second line as ROCKET CITY powered up in front with a 1.50.5 mile. Strong to the line at Redcliffe two starts back and pulling clear to a big win, the right trip can see him challenge.
COTE DAZUR (1) was a strong winner at Redcliffe three starts back when finding the front and dictating to an 8m margin. Not far away last start after a tough trip, the gate and options help.
MIGHTY JOLT (8) is in search of a hat-trick after successive wins, the latest when using the passing lane to take a 3m heat win. Likely to be snookered, he will be probing the openings.
SELECTIONS: STRIKEM (4), BEACHRIDE (9), COTE DAZUR (1), MIGHTY JOLT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: STRIKEM (4) to win
RACE FOUR
This is a cracking FFA feature and brings a myriad of intrigue, with the small field sure to make it a tactical contest. SPEAK THE TRUTH (1) made the most of the perfect trip in the ID Final to hold on for 2nd behind LEAP TO FAME. A beaten fav from gate 7 last start behind ROYAL CRUISER, the gate and options point to his victory.
THE JANITOR (7) has missed the top-two just once in eight outings in 2025 and lines up here fresh since his demolition of the 4YO Championship field where he overcame a second line gate. Huge in defeat in the Rising Sun when beaten a neck, he can throw down a big challenge.
FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5) is after a hat-trick after successive wins in standing start events, the latest here last week when unleashing a sizzling third panel blitz. Trip economics will be the key to his chances.
DELE ROW (6) will benefit from the small field and has a strong close put if saved for a finishing burst. 8m from ATTACHMENT last start in the Triad Final, he has an open class win on his record.
SELECTIONS: SPEAK THE TRUTH (1), THE JANITOR (7), FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (5), DELE ROW (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEAK THE TRUTH (1) to win
RACE FIVE
Grabbing 3rd in the heat of this 75Series, STUDLEIGH PUNTER (2) just missed scraping into the final. Eased from gate 7 in that contest, he took the short cuts home for the bronze when 4m from the winner MIGHTY JOLT. With good speed off the arm, he finds conditions to strike.
MY ROCKY ROMANCE (6) backs up from Tuesday where he missed the money but was left with nowhere to go behind a tiring leader. Luckless the start prior when second up from a spell and searching for gaps that did not arrive when needed, he can throw it down despite a wide gate.
MISTER REACTOR (4) will be better suited here after tackling an open standing start event last week. Settling handy can see him in the mix from this gate.
WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (5) held the pocket trail last start from inside the second line when chasing home behind STORYTELLER. Despite the tricky gate, he is a podium player here.
SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH PUNTER (2), MY ROCKY ROMANCE (6), MISTER REACTOR (4), WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
RACE SIX
Making her first Qld appearance last starts, TILLY JAYNE (3) started from a second line gate and was able to settle in the running line. Making late metres to just miss the minors when 6m from the winner LUVARESCHS, she finds the right gate to stake a claim second up.
SKY FAWKES (12) is a newcomer to Qld that joins the Turpin stable as a seven-time winner. First up since July 7, she was given a pipe-opener at the trials when sitting on SPEAK THE TRUTH and running him to a 1.3m margin. The gate makes it tough first up, but she looms large.
IMA QUEEN BEE (8) was first up for the new barn last time out when sliding into the running line from gate 5 and then finishing 5m from MOTH HUNTER. From the gate she will be probing for gaps.
FIREBOLT (5) was exposed early and then could not go on with it over the latter stages in the G2 Mares Triad Final two starts back. Grabbing bronze last start, she is a podium player again here.
SELECTIONS: TILLY JAYNE (3), SKY FAWKES (12), IMA QUEEN BEE (8), FIREBOLT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TILLY JAYNE (3) to win
RACE SEVEN
Powering up out of the machine here last week from gate 3, ROCKET CITY (1) took control soon after the start and then was in his own race, laying out a 1.50.5 mile. Runner-up from outside the second line to MAJOR HOT the start prior, he has the gate and speed to chase the repeat.
MAJOR HOT (3) was runner-up to THE JANITOR in the 4YO Championship and has not missed the money in four starts since. Sent out deep into the red here last week, he was crossed early and then did not pace cleanly when 3rd to ROCKET CITY. He may be rolling the sleeves here.
MYDADSAID (8) was too slick when the tapes flew last week in a midweek stand, pulling clear to a 12m victory. A soft trip behind the speed here should be a great benefit.
ROYAL SPEECH (2) was working home wide off the track in midweek company last time out to grab the silver behind HE AINT FAKIN. From the gate he is a podium hope.
SELECTIONS: ROCKET CITY (1), MAJOR HOT (3), MYDADSAID (8), ROYAL SPEECH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKET CITY (1) to win
RACE EIGHT
Midfield under unsuitable conditions here last week, CHEER LEADER (2) was not aided by a second line gate or trying to make ground as ROCKET CITY had the afterburners blazing in front. Not suited from the tapes the start prior, she can be handy enough here to bounce back into winning form.
LA DERNIERE (3) was last seen when claiming G2 success in the 4YO Mares Triad Final. Pressing to the front and then taking cover, she had the closing speed to dart through on the passing lane for victory. Settling handy again from this gate can see her throw it down.
SERGIOS ROCKET (1) loves a fence trip and from the inside gate will secure that here. Grabbing the bronze last week behind MISS IDAHO, she can be looking for the podium again.
MOTH HUNTER (6) has been hitting good areas in recent starts and last week arrived in the closing strides thanks to an inch perfect steer. The wide gate makes the repeat a tough ask.
SELECTIONS: CHEER LEADER (2), LA DERNIERE (3), SERGIOS ROCKET (1), MOTH HUNTER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CHEER LEADER (2) to win
RACE NINE
Runner-up in two of his past three starts and beaten a neck in the other, HELLO I TEA (1) has been taking inside lines in both of those events. Chasing through behind CALL TO ORDER last time out, he can secure the perfect stalking trip to launch his raid on the lane once again.
EPIC ERNIE (4) went to the inside here last week from outside the second line and was making some nice metres in the closing stages as CALL TO ORDER proved too strong. A beaten fav the start prior when shuffled to three back, he can get handy to issue the challenge.
IM BOO (3) was sent forward to sit parked from outside the front line at Redcliffe last start. Despite the tough trip, he held on for the silver. Pressing forward, he will be trying to fend them off.
HYDEEHO (8) was game in defeat at Redcliffe two starts back after working hard in the run and then last week was locked away. Likely to be snookered again here, he will be probing the openings.
SELECTIONS: HELLO I TEA (1), EPIC ERNIE (4), IM BOO (3), HYDEEHO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8
