Race 1:

 

OVERVIEW: VILLAROCK (4) is racing very well and is bursting to win and looks ideally suited here. Hard to hold out. SIR VINCENT (1) drawn ideally here and does have good gate speed and should be prominent throughout. Gets every chance in this. TUPELO BEACH (8) should enjoy a soft trip and can measure up in this class. Has claims. MAJOR BERT (9) good effort last start and gets a nice trailing draw. One of the chances. INEXORABLE (7) very good run last start from an ideal draw. Drawn wide here and will need some luck but must be respected. TOPHUT JOHNY (2) has a favourable draw and is a place chance whilst DANCINGONSTARLIGHT (5) EXCELENTE (6) and CHASING THE WIND (3) are first four hopes.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: MONT SALLY (5) not far away last start and looks suited against these. Does have gate speed and can give a big sight. RARITY ROCK (4) locally trained runner that looks well placed in this and looks a major threat. Both AT THE DISTANCE (7) and KOTA BHARU (9) are racing well and just need suitable trips to be amongst the chances whilst KARBINE (8) has ability and just needs some racing luck. Both MAORI TATTOO (6) and NO REMORSE (2) are place hopes whilst QUIRKY CHARACTER (3) and ALLWATFUNJINGLES (1) are first four hopes.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: SPEEDY HEALEY (1) is a talented 3yo that draws ideally here to race on the speed. Looks suited and should be fighting out the finish. DAVOLAS LEGACY (3) had plenty of admirers when first up and wasn’t far away. Drawn favourably and expect a big showing. LADY DELORIS (5) 3yo filly that was just behind the placegetters from a poor draw when having her first Victorian start. Gets a front-line draw and is one of the main chances. ZOOM ZOOM BOOM (4) resumes here from a very long spell but showed to have good ability as a 2yo. Very capable if anywhere near right. MY WAY (6) racing well and will be running on late whilst stablemate BUSLOAD OF FAITH (7) and WILD CARD (2) are first four hopes.

Race 4:

 

OVERVIEW: TEX GOES BANG (5) is an experienced and capable pacer that looks well placed here and expect a strong showing. YELLA (6) in good form and the small field suits here over the sprint trip and can figure in the finish. OCEANIQUE (1) races well here and draws ideally from the pole position and should get a great trip and will get every chance. Local runners LOTAKEVI (2) and GROOM (7) are never far away and must be respected along with SASSCILIAN (3) and SELF EXCLUSION (4) in a winnable race that all runners have claims.

Race 5:

 

OVERVIEW: FINAL PROMISE (4) has disappointed in recent starts and found the opposition too strong. This is an easier assignment and might be best suited against these and is worthy of another chance. GIVE FRED A CLAP (7) lightly raced pacer racing well and looks suited despite the wide draw. One of the main chances. NORMY (5) has been freshened up since his last start win but does have speed and can measure up again here. Definite chance. BLAZIN BY (6) a last start winner and has been very consistent to date. Must be respected. BJ ROBERTSON (2) improving with every run and wasn’t far away last start. Not out of this from a good draw and small field.  STORM VENDETTA (1) is showing ability at the trials and is sure to be well prepared by trainer Jason Carabott. Can run well. CAPTAIN BOAK (3) good effort last start and this race suits. Would not surprise in a race that all runners have winning claims.

Race 6:

 

OVERVIEW: LOVE ME AGAIN (5) started favourite last start when placed. This race is not strong and gets another chance here. ALDEBARAN SARIAH (6) has been chasing home slightly stronger opposition and looks well placed here. Definite chance. MOREEP (3) first starter that has shown ability at the trials and in under the astute care of Brosnan family and must be respected here. WHATSTHEGOSS (4) AMESKY (1) COLUMBIAS GONZALES (2) and PLATINUMS SON (7) are improving types and strike a suitable race and are amongst the place and first four chances.
