OVERVIEW: FORESIGHT (6) disappointed last start when unplaced and pulled hard. Back to the sprint trip here suits and should be in this for a long way. SCHERGER THAT (7) capable 3yo that chased home a smart type when runner up last start at this track. Drawn wide here but can run a mighty race. HIGHVIEW HAMMER (2) has run a string of placings and gets a favourable draw again to be considered amongst the main chances. SASSYOLA (8) 10yo that is never far away and will be doing her best work late. BLACKMIRRA (3) resumes here and can mix her form. Speedy and might run well fresh. Both INEXORABLE (4) and PLAIN ED (5) are place chances whilst JUDES DUDE (9) and LOTAKEVI (1) are first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: DEVILS BLING (7) has been performing very well for the Quinlan team since joining the stable and looks well placed here and should prove hard to hold out again. OH NO NEVER AGAIN (8) improved run last start and will appreciate the drop back in distance and can pose as a major threat. DANCINGONSTARLIGHT (5) unplaced last start but her prior form has been solid and must be respected here. SEA HAWKE (1) drawn well and hasn’t been far away of late and will get every chance. CAPTAIN BOAK (4) speedy type that can show early speed and has place claims. SNAZOLA (2) GROOM (3) MY KGARI (6) are amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: ZIPPING VOLSTEAD (7) interesting runner arriving back from a campaign in NSW. An impressive winner on debut at Melton back in December. Joins the Tyrone Abela stable and might prove hard to hold out. Stable runner SHES SKY HIGH (5) finished off strongly last start and is working up to a win and is one of the main chances here. Expect a big showing. AMARTEY (4) continues to race well without winning but must be respected again in this. SAM NIEN (6) fitter and battled on well last start. Third up and is a definite chance. Both CHINSKI (2) and ALLWATFUNJINGLES (3) are very honest and have place and first four claims along with NUCLEAR ATTITUDE (1) from the pole position draw.

OVERVIEW: CALZAGHE (2) is a first starter that is under the care of top juvenile trainer Adam Kelly and is showing good promise at the trials. Sure to be well educated and expect a big showing. FAMOUS CRIMES (5) lightly raced pacer that shows good ability and is bursting to win a race. A major threat. BLAZIN BY (6) is first up since November and is sure to have benefited from the race experience. Has trialled up well for this and must be respected. MY GUARANTEE (1) improving type with a nice draw has place and first four claims along with HURRICANE HOOLY (7) NOT FOR ME (3) and MY BAD (4).

GIVE DAVE A WAVE (6) honest type that is never far away and is amongst the main chances. STRAPPING RED (3) going better than his figure form reads and looks suited. Definite chance. CLASSY OPERATOR (5) very capable of better than his figure form reads. Not hopeless, must include in the wider exotics. ISOLATION (2) won well two starts ago and draws well here. Has early speed and can race handy. Has claims. MAJOR BERT (1) beaten by a good pacer last start and draws well again here. Sure to get every chance.

ALDEBARAN AXL (1) very good run last start after working hard early and battled on well. One of the main chances. APACHE VALLEY (6) not disgraced at his latest run and is an improving type. Fitter and worth following. Has claims. NIGHT FLIGHT (2) honest type that is a place and first four chance from the draw along with DANCE WITH ROXY (3) that has enjoyed plenty of experience at the trial. SOVERREIGN SILK (5) can improve and is a first four hope.
