We head to Launceston for a handy nine event card on Sunday night.

Sue Nien looks a good bet in race two as should lead throughout.

Eureka Jo will be too classy and should be winning.

Star Major can overcome the backmark and can take out race seven.

We Salute You looks well placed in race eight and can win.

RACE 1: 16:10pm The Bottle O Hadspen Stakes 1680m

This is for the 3yo and older and the consistent LEWICKI LEIS (3) looks to get his chance as draws well so will put himself into action and is the one to beat. Stablemate POST KEG (6) has every possible last time so will need to be better here if is to overcome the wide draw. BROADWAY BLING (1) and MY MATE LUKE (4) have been thereabouts of late and will be again here. VINCENTS RAINBOW (2), SPORTY CHICK (5) and TERESA DILLON (7) round out the field and wouldn’t entirely shock.

Here we have a race for the 4yo and older Mares and the inform SUE NIEN (1) is the one to beat after a pair of successive wins of late so from the pole should hold up be too quick. DIAMONDSNBLUE (5) is another inform mare who looks a player despite drawing a little wide. DONE WELL (3) has been thereabouts of late and will get a soft run so wouldn’t shock. OUR MIKI DIVA (2) and JUST FOLLOW ME (6) are capable of running into a minor placing for exotic players.

This is for the 50-56 rated pacers over the short trip. FIVE STAR SHARK (1) grows a leg in front and from the pole should hold up and will give plenty of cheek. CHEETAH LODGE (8) will push through on his back and if the gap opens up will get close. SABINE (3) will sit just behind them so can be around the mark. WATCH IT HAPPEN (11) continues to race well and if gets the right cart into the race he can run past his rivals. DENNY (4), LOYOLA TRIOS (7) and GOBSMACKED (9) are a trio that are capable if the breaks come their way.

KILLARNEY DANCE (2), NANCESTIGER (3) and NATIONAL NEWS (11) are a trio that are racing well so are a must for the wider exotic placings.

NEON (2) has been super in both runs for Adam Rattray and has the draw to settle just behind them so can run the exacta placing. KOSYGIN LEIS (5) TWILIGHT BONNIE (6) and SMOKESCREEN (7) are three that are always around the mark and look the likely pacers to fill the third and fourth placings.

this is a race for the open class pacers and we see the return of MAGICIAN (8) from NSW where he didn’t go as well as expected. He resumes into a pretty strong race so will be interesting to see how he goes as his best would win this. MAGNETIC TERROR (6) is in the zone at the moment and he was able to roll forward and find the top he will take plenty of running down. THE SHALLOWS (10) has returned in career best form and will be getting home hard. MISS PAPENHUYZEN (5), BLITZERN (7) and COOL WATER PADDY (9) can sneak a minor placing to spice up the exotics.

HOT DEAL (10) is the fellow backmarker and was good last time so only needs to produce that effort to be in the finish. JUST TIGER (6) is always thereabouts and if the luck comes his way he is capable as are the likes of STEPPING STONES (2), OUT OF EDEN (3) and KEAYANG FITZY (9) who can figure also but more for the wider exotics.
