JAMIESON (9) returned to the winners list last start in what was an impressive victory. He defeated IDEAL MELODY by 4.2 metres. A repeat of that run will make him hard to beat again tonight.

WHATA OPTIMIST (10) has a tricky draw to contend with, but he does meet an easier field compared to recent starts.

NIGHT SPIRIT (6) and ROSCOS RESCUE (2) are also chances.

Race 2:

PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (2) is a very good chance of finding the lead tonight. He defeated HURRICANE ED by 3.6 metres last start. If he leads he will be hard to run down.

BARHOON (12) looks like the main danger, but she will have work to do off the back mark.

DUTCH TEACHER (7) and HURRICANE ED (8) are also chances.

Race 3:

PREMONITION (1) returned to the winners list last start when he defeated ASSASSINATOR by 3.7 metres. He will be hard to beat from the inside draw.

SPRINGFIELD AFFAIR (6) will be the main danger.

MAHARAJAH (7) and EURO BEAT (5) are also chances.

Race 4:

BOULDER CITY (8) will need some luck from the inside of the second row but his last start win where he led all of the way first up from a spell was impressive. A repeat of that effort and a bit of luck will put him right in the finish tonight.

HEREFORAGOODTIME (5) is a good chance of finding the lead. He is worth strong consideration.

SUMMERDAYS (4) and BIG BLACK BETTY (7) are also chances.

Race 5:

BUDDING CAESAR (8) didn’t have a lot of luck last start and was a bit flat. His two wins before last start were strong. He should be able to run a strong race against this field tonight.

VATICAN GREEN (1) should appreciate the distance. He will run a strong race from the inside draw.

BLACKTOP ROCK (3) and CLARENDEN EXPRESS (6) are also chances.

Race 6:

SONGNDANCE MAN (5) has won his last two starts impressively. If he can repeat those runs and move into a forward position early he will be hard to beat.

CLASSIC LINE (3) is racing well and he looks like the main danger.

BUZZ BOMB (9) and JUST MOCHA (1) are also chances.

Race 7:

ALORA (3) should have the stamina to cover this field. He has won his last two starts. He defeated MODSQUAD by 6.1 metres and should be hard to beat.

OHOKA AGENT (2) has been knocking on the door for a win over his last few starts. He will be right in the finish.

MY ULTIMATE FLYNN (5) and HUGH GO (6) are also chances.

Race 8:

HANOVER DA MOON (3) was a little disappointing last start but he should be able to improve off that run. He will be hard to beat tonight.

MAJESTIC TILLY (2) looks like the main danger but she is first up from a little break.

ALDEBARAN STILES (1) and SPOTLIGHT (5) are also chances.
