Race 1:
OVERVIEW: MIKI STEAMED HOME (1) good effort when runner up and first up for astute trainer David Drury and will strip fitter for this, providing he can hold up from the pole position he will be hard to beat. MARTHA LAVINIA (8) racing with great zest and if she can settle in the box seat, she’s a major threat. ALFNALMA (7) outstanding run last start when flashing home late when tempo was against. Just needs to be in striking range and she can fight out the finish. RUBY WINGATE (3) drawn to race in a prominent spot, sprint trip suits and races well at this track. Must include. TIME TO TORQUE (9) GOODTIME MACH (10) MR TEDDY (6) are all going well enough and must be respected.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: Both REMI LOU (5) and TOPSIES BLING (4) are promising 3yo fillies that are progressing well through the grades and competing at a good level. Both can begin fast and should be well placed to be in the finish. KEAYANG WASABI (7) lightly raced pacer that shows good ability and strikes a good field and needs to overcome a wide draw. Definite chance. The Matt Craven trained pair BANKSOFTHEMURRAY (10) and JUMPINGJOY (9) are talented pacers that have good trailing draws and will be the swooper’s working into the race late and are amongst the winning chances. GOODTIME LIBBY (6) going well and has claims.

OVERVIEW: SHE WILL WANTANO (6) talented mare that resumes from a spell and strikes a suitable race to be in the finish. Can run well fresh. FOREGONE CONCLUSION (5) racing well and does have the race fitness on his side and expect another strong showing. Hard to hold out. MONTANA PRIDE (11) does possess a big finishing sprint and providing he can get a good trail into the race and expect him to be running home late. THELONGROADNOWHERE (9) gets a nice trailing draw and is one of the chances whilst both EASTBRO KOZZY (10) and NORMANDY NUGGET (8) have claims.

OVERVIEW: ROADMASTER (7) high quality pacer resuming from a break after finishing fourth in the 4yo Vicbred Final in September. Hard to beat. ULTIMATE VINNIE (8) racing with great zest against quality pacers. Definite danger. RACKEMUP TIGERPIE (9) former top pacer resuming from a long spell. Can never dismiss an old warhorse. Might run well fresh. BLAKE BOLAC (6) consistent pacer racing well against slightly lesser opposition. Can run well along with CRIME WRITER (5) DANCE AWAY (4) and BOLRAMSKI (1) all close neighbours that must be respected.

OVERVIEW: The David Drury prepared runners T BONE WALKER (9) disappointed last start but was impressive winning at his Australian debut and might be better suited here on this bigger track than last start whilst HEAVY METAL HAMMER (7) has run well at both starts this campaign and despite the wide draw expect a strong showing. The Matt Craven stablemates MICHAYWEY (10) and CHEYS ANGEL (6) have good ability and racing well and are amongst the winning chances. STARTIN TO GOGH (2) draws well and has claims.

OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN ROCKY (3) is racing well and bursting to win another race. Brave in defeat last start and deserves a change of luck. Can run well here. DAISY BOUCHEA (1) drawn to get a good smother and if the breaks go her way she can figure in the finish. Definite hope. FLING IT RAINBOW (7) a winner three starts ago that can race in a forward position and is one of the chances whilst KYVALLEY SURFRIDER (6) DICKO DIXON (5) and PERSEVERANSE (2) are going well enough to come under consideration and must be included at least as place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: REGINALDS REIGN (7) finished off very well at his race debut and did things wrong at his next start. He still has plenty to learn but does have the natural ability to run well here. RASENGAN (8) improving with every run and does have the race fitness to be amongst the winning chances in a suitable race. MY MOTHER SAID (6) was doing her best work late at her race debut and with the race experience can only keep improving. Must be respected. KYVALLEY MUCKLEBAR (1) first starter in the astute care of Antti Ruokonen and with recent trials at this track will be primed for a strong showing at his race debut. Watch with great interest. Both THE NIGHT QUEEN (4) and TRICKY DIAMOND (3) will strip fitter and have place and first four claims.

Should be in this for a long way whilst CINCINNATI (8) gets an ideal trailing draw and is one the winning chances. LILSTREPO (3) SECOND EDITION (4) MY MATE LUKE (6) and ONLY SON (2) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: JILLIBY ZUCCHINI (6) resumes here from a very long spell and does have good ability. Trialling well and clearly looks the horse to beat. BARBADOS ROSE (2) can improve form her race debut and didn’t have the best of luck. Can run well. IM THE WILD ONE (4) found trouble last start but prior form gives her claims. Worthy of another chance. LIVERMERE (3) MALANI JOH (1) and PURPLE KAIDA (7) have further scope for improvement and show ability. Must be included in the place and first four chances.
