Form Analysis by Craig Rail
Race 1:
OVERVIEW: HES NO ROMEO (1) led out then took cover when a convincing winner of his heat. He has been in very good form since coming from New Zealand and is perfectly drawn to suit his racing pattern so he must be respected. WATTLEBANK ARNIE (8) trailed the leader and finished quickly via the sprint lane to win his heat. He is drawn to receive a similar trail on the markers and should be finishing off strongly again. TRIPLE ROCK SAINT (3) has struck peak form and did well after coming out three horses wide from midfield at his latest second. He should go well again under these conditions. BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (6) was shuffled back on the markers and finished off boldly for second in his heat effort. He was a big winner first up so he must be respected. ROCKNALLOVERTHEWORLD (2), HEZ ALL ROCK (5), ATA RANGI (11) and ATA RANGI (13) are all capable of showing up without surprising in an open race to start the night.
EARLY SPEED: 1 (likely leader), 2,5,7

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: RIVER STORM (11) recorded a victory in fast time over the smart pacer Romeo at Cranbourne then competed in the Super Series, where he made it through to the Final and ended up finishing in tenth. This race is much easier and he has performed well at the trials so he should prove hard to beat. SPRINGFIELD RIVER (9) has been very impressive at his two starts to date and looms as the logical danger. He was driven aggressively and worked forward to find the lead when he scored comfortably at Maryborough last outing. THESTING (10) produced a powerful finishing burst when he was able to get up and score at his debut performance. This is a race of more depth but he is worth thought again. GINGER ELLA (3) pushed forward to find the lead and raced fiercely when fourth at Wagga last outing. She was placed in a heat of the Super Series on November 05 and is worth an investment.
EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible leader), 1,4

RATINGS: 11/ 9,10/ 3/ 1/ 8

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: IJUSTCANTSEEIT (1) broke at the start and was last early but recovered brilliantly when she won easily at Maryborough on Tuesday. She showed a lot of ability during the Super Series and in the Breeders Crown so she will take beating if she gives a fool proof display. PASS THE SALT (9) made it though to the Super Series Final, where seventh then followed with a sixth ($2-50 fav) at Kilmore. He is better than his form reads and is capable of improving on his numerical form. SPIRITED GIGI (6) was runner up at his first two attempts prior to a fifth at Maryborough on Monday. He is a speedy type and should be competitive under these conditions. VAN NOSTRAND (12) endured a tough run and battled on well for third at Kilmore last outing. He ran home well to win at Shepparton three starts ago so he warrants respect.
EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 6

RATINGS: 1/ 6,9/ 12/ 3,4
SUGGESTED BET: IJUSTCANTSEEIT (1) to win
Race 4:
OVERVIEW: JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (2) pushed forward to find the lead and couldn’t have been more impressive when she scored by a large margin in a slick mile rate of 1.55.7 last week. This is a race of more depth but she is the horse to beat again. KEAYANG LAVITA (4) is the obvious danger. She chased hard after her champion stable mate Keayang Zahara and was seemingly going to run second but broke stride at the 150m when unplaced in the Super Series then followed with a fifth in the Great Square at Albion Park. FOUROUTOFFIVE (3) sustained a long run to win at Melton two starts ago then did well after a bad getaway when fifth behind I’m Bobby at Melton last week. He is a versatile trotter and is a definite place chance. EL RESAMO (9) and IMPERIAL COMMAND (11) both perform best when they are able to lead so being drawn on the second row is a disadvantage but they are racing too well to dismiss.
EARLY SPEED: 2 (likely leader), 1,3,4,5
SELECTIONS: JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (2), KEAYANG LAVITA (4), FOUROUTOFFIVE (3), IMPERIAL COMMAND (11)
RATINGS: 2,4/ 3/ 1,9,11/ 6/ 8
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (2) to win
Race 5:
OVERVIEW: OLLIES THE BOSS (7) won the Super Series Silver event three starts ago then competed in the Breeders Crown series so he appears to be much better placed against this line up. He is a tough type and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. EASTBRO CHRISSY (5) is an honest mare, which settled in the second half of the field and finished off solidly for second behind The Bride last outing. This race is no harder and she should go well again. DEUCE COUPE (4) began quickly to lead and set up a genuine tempo when a close up fifth behind Amphijet in a mile of 1.53.9 at Geelong last outing. He worked home well for third at Melton prior and is worth an investment. CARRAMAR TITMUS (8) is stepping up in class but is racing in career best form and cannot be underestimated.
EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible leader), 4,6
SELECTIONS: OLLIES THE BOSS (7), EASTBRO CHRISSY (5), DEUCE COUPE (4), CARRAMAR TITMUS (8)
RATINGS: 7/ 5/ 4,8/ 3,9
SUGGESTED BET: OLLIES THE BOSS (7) to win
Race 6:
OVERVIEW: FREIGHT SHAKER (1) was able to find the lead when he scored at Melton three starts ago and will prove hard to beat if he can manage enough pace to kick through and hold the lead again. IM ABOVE THE LAW (3) is a chance of getting across to the markers however and will take catching if he does. He raced without cover when third at Maryborough two starts ago then was shuffled back on the markers after commencing from the inside of the second line at his latest fifth. HEZA GUN (8) will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment and follows out behind one of the leading chances in FREIGHT SHAKER (1) so he should go well. He was placed behind Ollivici four starts ago, competed in the Super Series at his next two attempts then was unplaced his latest appearance behind I’m Bobby in the open class standing start event on Saturday night. MYSTERY FRED (6) is a 3yo trotter taking on older horses but he finished fourth in the Breeders Crown last outing behind Mecarno so he is capable of being competitive.
EARLY SPEED: 3 (possible leader), 1,5
SELECTIONS: FREIGHT SHAKER (1), IM ABOVE THE LAW (3), HEZA GUN (8), MYSTERY FRED (6)
RATINGS: 1/ 3,8/ 6/ 5,9,10
SUGGESTED BET: FREIGHT SHAKER (1) to win
Race 7:
OVERVIEW: MY ULTIMATE BARNEY (9) is resuming since a second behind the smart pacer Calexico at Melton in October. It took him some time to hit his top form last preparation but he will take beating if he is close to his peak form. SWEET IDEAL (7) did pick up some ground from the back when fifth in track record time at Geelong last outing. She copped a lot of pressure in the leading role when unplaced in the Super Series prior and is worth another chance under these conditions. TWISTING BY (1) is likely to be headed off at the start but he possesses a powerful finishing burst and is racing well enough to figure in the finish. He did pick up ground in a sizzling final quarter of 26.6 seconds at his latest fourth. MY UNCLE STAN (2) and REPELLING (4) both performed well in the race won by Smoken Ace at Geelong last outing and is not without a chance.
EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 3,5
SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BARNEY (9), SWEET IDEAL (7), TWISTING BY (1), REPELLING (4)
RATINGS: 9/ 1,7/ 2,4
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE BARNEY (9) to win
Race 8:
OVERVIEW: MACH DAN (7) secures his first draw on the front line for a very long time and he is a genuine front runner. He progressed forward from the second line and worked to the front when a brave second behind the top pacer Bulletproof Boy last week so he is capable of going one etter now. CODE BAILEY (4) recorded successive victories at Melton including a win in a sizzling mile rate of 1.50.5 prior to a seventh (6m) behind Dangerous when he commenced from the second row. He should gain a prominent position early and he can return to winning form. TRIPLE EIGHT (1) is perfectly drawn to suit his racing pattern and should be dangerous via the sprint lane. He finished off well from midfield on the markers at his latest third behind Petracca. OUR LUCIANO (3) ran a good race for fourth behind Bulletproof Boy last week and is worth a ticket each way.
EARLY SPEED: 7 (likely leader), 4
SELECTIONS: MACH DAN (7), CODE BAILEY (4), TRIPLE EIGHT (1), OUR LUCIANO (3)
RATINGS: 7/ 4/ 1,3/ 5/ 6/ 2
SUGGESTED BET: MACH DAN (7) to win
