Race 1:

COUNTESS CRUSOE (3) has been edging closer to a win since joining the Frank Pullicino stable. She gets a big chance today against this sort of field if she can get the right run.

NOTHING I WANT (1) joins the Ryan Hryhorec stable from NSW. If she brings her best run she could shake this race up.

TINEY (2) and JET LEGS (4) are also chances.

Race 2:

MICKTHEBESTBUTCHER (2) showed off some nice gate speed during his first career start at Port Pirie. He was only beaten a neck behind NODINI. If he can lead today he will be a very strong chance.

QUEEN CROCKER (3) is the main danger. She ran a better race last start behind OPEN THE GATES.

SPOOK CROCKER (6) and UPTON MILEY (1) are also chances.

Race 3:

TOLD YOU TWICE (1) returned to the winners list last start when he defeated CLASSIC ANGELINA by 5.6 metres. He should be able to hold the lead today and be hard to run down.

LAST TANGO IN HEAVEN (6) will be the main danger if he can produce his best performance.

R ELEVEN ART (3) and DON ARTHUR (4) are also chances.

Race 4:

SHIREEN (4) has been racing well since coming to South Australia. Her last two starts at Port Pirie have been solid and she has a lot of ability over the longer journey. She will be tough to beat.

MY ULTIMATE HARRY (7) is first up but he could shake this race up if he is anywhere near being fully fit.

BUTTER CUP (1) and MAJOR ICON (3) are also chances.

Race 5:

LOVE TO DEAL (3) ran a better race last start at Mildura. She has the speed to lead today and does her best racing when she leads. She is a major chance.

NANNA HELEN (5) was a winner three starts back but has struggle to fire since that. If she can improve today she should be in the finish.

GOLDEN JAYLET (8) and ACES SHADOW (2) are also chances.

Race 6:

THE REGINATOR (6) will need some luck from the draw but he is one of the better horses in this race when he is right. If he can get a quiet run he should attack the line well.

HUGH GO (1), LIL MISS CROCKER (3) and OZZIE JOYBELL (8) are also chances.

Race 7:

AMIRA MARIE (7) is showing heaps of promise after taking out her last two starts. The draw is a major test today but she is racing so well it’s hard to look past her.

HILLTOP BLOSSOM (1) will be dangerous especially if she can hold the lead.

DON CAPITANO (8) and GYM JUNKY (2) are also chances.

Race 8:

MISS OUT (7) has the tricky draw but that shouldn’t worry her too much. She can do some hard work and storm home late and matches up well against this field. She is worth strong consideration.

KUHIO CREST (1), TRUE BLUE ROSE (6) and NIGHT SPIRIT (8) are also chances.
