Form Analysis by Craig Rail
Race 1:
OVERVIEW: FAIR CHANCE (6) is racing in career best form and looms as a strong winning chance again. She left a trailing position to race without cover when she won impressively over Sir Nippa at Charlton last outing. NOTHING SWEETER (5) trailed the leader and finished off best at Kilmore last outing. She has been racing in peak form having won six races for the season and should give another forward showing. PRINCESS ARNA (2) is a fast beginner and is likely to find the front shortly after the start. She has performed well after commencing from the second line at her past two starts so she is worth a ticket each way. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (8), REDBANK MOLLY (10) and EMJAY JAZZ (11) have all been in winning form and are worth thought in a good race to commence the program.
EARLY SPEED: 2 (likely early leader), 4,5,6
SELECTIONS: FAIR CHANCE (6), NOTHING SWEETER (5), PRINCESS ARNA (2), REDBANK MOLLY (10)
RATINGS: 5,6/ 2/ 8,10/ 11
SUGGESTED BET: FAIR CHANCE (6) to win
Race 2:
OVERVIEW: WICKED WIZARD (2) has been unplaced in all of his five starts to date but he was spelled after his latest performance and he impressed at a recent Melton trial victory so a forward showing would not surprise. TOTALLY STUNNING (12) was a runaway trial winner at a Shepparton trial on Thursday night and must be respected. EEBEEBEE (7) produced a big finishing burst when third behind Krakey two starts ago then followed with a second behind Thunderfire last week. She is awkwardly drawn but is worth following. MAJOR BYE (10) was heavily supported and battled on gamely for a close second behind Sweet Louanne at Bendigo last outing. He is out of the former top mare Vertigal and should continue to improve with the benefit of racing. KUALIGHT (1) is a possible improver and GALLICO (5) is racing well enough to figure in the finish.
EARLY SPEED: 1 (possible leader), 2,4
SELECTIONS: WICKED WIZARD (2), TOTALLY STUNNING (12), EBEEBEE (7), MAJOR BYE (10),
RATINGS: 2/ 12/ 7,10/ 1,5
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED WIZARD (2) each way
Race 3:
OVERVIEW: INTERPRETATION (12) pushed forward to find the lead and scored comfortably at Shepparton last outing. She is even more effective when coming from off the speed and this is a race of similar standard so she must be respected. JINDALEA JACK (6) showed brilliant early pace to find the lead and fought on fairly well for second at Kilmore on September 25. He has improved with each run since resuming from a break and should give another forward showing. OUTA THE BLUE (7) was driven aggressively to find the lead and was run down on the line when a close third at Bendigo two starts ago. She is poorly drawn but has the ability to figure in the finish. MY BELLA (9) and IMPEACHED (11) are both worth thought in multiple combinations.
EARLY SPEED: 6 (likely leader), 1,3,5
SELECTIONS: INTERPRETATION (12), JINDALEA JACK (6), OUTA THE BLUE (7), IMPEACHED (11)
RATINGS: 12/ 6,7/ 9,11/ 1
SUGGESTED BET: INTERPRETATION (12) to win
Race 4:
OVERVIEW: ZENARIO (11) has been sparingly raced recently and he hasn’t been to the trials but he is a very good 3yo pacer and will take beating if he is somewhere near his peak form. SOHO PLAYGIRL (1) was resuming since July when she raced without cover throughout and went down fighting at her latest second. She does tend to perform best over the sprint distance but she should be in front for a long way from the pole position. KARUMA KEV (3) is a tough campaigner, which left a trailing position to move up without cover at the bell when a brave second behind Tooram Cee Cee at Bendigo last outing. He moves to the front line now and should take beating. MAJOR HAYLEY (2) worked home well for third behind Denver Man at Cranbourne last outing. She is nicely drawn and is worth an investment.
EARLY SPEED: 1 (likely leader), 2,3,5
SELECTIONS: ZENARIO (11), SOHO PLAYGIRL (1), KARUMA KEV (3), MAJOR HAYLEY (2)
RATINGS: 1,11/ 3/ 2,7/ 5/ 9,10
SUGGESTED BET: ZENARIO (11) each way
Race 5:
OVERVIEW: OFF YOUR FACESKI (9) broke stride in the score up, chased hard and ran a terrific race for a close second behind Fling It Rainbow at Ballarat last outing. He missed out narrowly at Maryborough prior and deserves to break through for a win. FRANKYTHEFRENCHMAN (4) settled in a rearward position and sustained a strong run when second behind Champagnes at Bendigo last outing. He is a fast beginner and is nearing a win against this class. BILLY ZIPPIN (2) progressed forward to race without cover and battled on strongly for third behind Settle The Bill at Shepparton last outing. He is racing in good form and is worth an investment. POPPY POPSTAR (6) has returned to her peak form and has claims along with WHATS THE TEA (10), which won at Ballarat two starts ago.
EARLY SPEED: 4 (possible leader), 2,6
SELECTIONS: OFF YOUR FACESKI (9), FRANKYTHEFRENCHMAN (4), BILLY ZIPPIN (2), POPPY POPSTAR (6)
RATINGS: 9/ 2,4/ 6/ 10/ 7
SUGGESTED BET: OFF YOUR FACESKI (9) to win
Race 6:
OVERVIEW: ZARSKI (9) ran a huge race for second in a heat of the Nutrien Classic before finishing sixth in the Final. He missed away and made many lengths when a big second at Charlton last outing so he will take plenty of beating if he produces a fool proof display. KARBINE (7) is a handy performer when he is able to put it altogether and should be hitting the line strongly. He came from last when a big winner at Bendigo two starts ago. FLOATING MOUNTAIN (6) began quickly to lead, copped some pressure mid-race and remained strong at the finish when a big winner at Melton last outing. He is widely drawn but he should give a bold showing. KYVALLEY JAGGER (8) is awkwardly drawn but will appreciate a drop back in class for this assignment so he is not without a chance.
EARLY SPEED: 6 (likely leader), 1,2,5
SELECTIONS: ZARSKI (9), KARBINE (7), FLOATING MOUNTAIN (6), KYVALLEY JAGGER (8)
RATINGS: 9/ 6,7/ 8/ 1,2/ 5
SUGGESTED BET: ZARSKI (9) to win
Race 7:
OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN JAZMINE (6) is resuming since a fourth behind Tipple Time at Bendigo in August. She was placed in the Australian Gold Final at Melton two starts ago and she won a trial at Melton last week so she will prove very hard to beat. ALDEBARAN ADA (5) progressed forward to race without cover and was able to win comfortably at Bendigo last outing. She is racing in good form and must be considered as a winning chance again. ZOOLU (7) won at her first two attempts then followed with an eighth in the Tatlow Stakes. She has a tough draw to overcome but she is a versatile filly and warrants respect. BROOKLYNGOTCOURAGE (2) and NORTHERN TRUSCOTT (4) are both racing well enough to be worth thought in multiple combinations.
EARLY SPEED: 6 (possible leader), 2,3,5
SELECTIONS: ALDEBARAN JAZMINE (6), ALDEBARAN ADA (5), ZOOLU (7), NORTHERN COURAGE (4)
RATINGS: 5,6/ 7/ 2,4/ 8,9
SUGGESTED BET: ALDEBARAN JAZMINE (6) to win
Race 8:
OVERVIEW: WHY TANYA SUE (8) is resuming since breaking stride and losing her chance in the New South Wales Oaks in May. She won at her first two attempts and she ran a game second behind the Metropolitan class trotter Imperial Monarch at a recent Terang trial performance so she is sure to be strongly fancied. THE DARK THUNDER (7) has made errors at his past two attempts and is better than his form reads. He was a comfortable winner at Bendigo on August 06 and is a winning chance if he delivers a fool proof display. MONTANA CHEVELLE (5) is a fast beginner from the mobile and races best when she is able to lead over the sprint distance so she has the conditions to suit her here. She finished quickly from off the speed to win easily last outing so she is racing in good form. OOPZEE DAIZEE (2) and COURAGES LAW (3) are both racing well enough to feature prominently.
EARLY SPEED: 5 (likely leader), 2,3
SELECTIONS: WHY TANYA SUE (8), THE DARK THUNDER (7), MONTANA CHEVELLE (5), COURAGES LAW (3)
RATINGS: 8/ 5,7/ 2,3/ 9
SUGGESTED BET: WHY TANYA SUE (8) to win
