Dear Stakeholder,
Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) will shortly commence the development of its Strategic Plan for the period 2027–2030.
The strategic direction established through this process will help shape the future of the NSW harness racing industry over the next three years. It is important that all sectors of the industry have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion and ensure their views are considered as part of the planning process.
To facilitate meaningful engagement, HRNSW will be conducting a two-day Strategic Planning Forum involving the HRNSW Board, Executive and representatives from the industry's kindred bodies. The forum will be held at Bankstown Sports Club on Friday August 28 and Saturday August 29 (half day).
The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for participants to discuss the key opportunities, challenges and priorities facing the industry and to assist in shaping the strategic path of HRNSW for the years ahead.
Stakeholders are encouraged to engage with their relevant kindred body representatives to ensure their views and suggestions are raised prior to the forum discussions. Alternatively, individuals may make a direct submission to HRNSW by email.
To allow sufficient time for consideration and collation of submissions, written contributions should be forwarded to HRNSW no later than August 22, 2026.
HRNSW values the input of all industry participants and looks forward to working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a strategic plan that supports a sustainable and successful future for harness racing in New South Wales.
Yours sincerely,
|
