With more than 2000 wins between them, Harness Racing New South Wales is proud to announce the talented line-up of young drivers who will contest the 2025 Rising Stars feature race at Club Menangle this Saturday on Nutrien NSW Breeders Challenge Finals night.
The Rising Stars event has become a key highlight on this feature race night, giving the state’s most promising junior driver an opportunity to compete on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

HRNSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman said the event continues to highlight the depth of young talent across the state.
“The Rising Stars is a fantastic initiative that gives emerging drivers the chance to showcase their skills in a major race-night environment,” Mr Buckman said.
“It’s a proven stepping stone for many of our leading drivers and a great reflection of the future strength of harness racing in NSW.”
The Rising Stars feature race will share the spotlight with the six Nutrien NSW Breeders Challenge Finals including four Group 1 races, with the best of the state’s equine and human talent coming together for an evening of top-class racing at Club Menangle.
The HRNSW Rising Stars is a $20,400 penalty exempt event over the mile for pacers with a national rating of up to 80. Drivers are allocated to horses randomly.
