Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) wishes to advise participants of a delay in the processing of this week’s stakes payments due to a national outage affecting the Harvey racing system.
Since early Monday morning, the Harvey system has been offline, significantly disrupting business operations across all harness racing jurisdictions in Australia. RISE and its consultants have been working diligently to resolve the issue and restore full system functionality.
Impact on Stakes Processing
For New South Wales, the outage has directly impacted HRNSW’s ability to transfer race meeting results and associated financial data from Harvey into our general ledger system. As a result, it is currently not possible to finalise and process this week’s stakes payments.
At this time, it is anticipated that the Harvey system will be restored either by late this afternoon or, at the latest, overnight. Once operational, there will be an estimated 48 to 72-hour window required to complete data transfers and reconciliation before stakes payments can be processed and statements generated.
HRNSW understands the importance of timely stakes payments to participants and sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused by this delay, which is unfortunately beyond our control.
We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available and will notify participants once the stakes run has commenced.
