IN WHAT is becoming a cliché, another Trotters' Cup will be conducted during the weekend with Ryan Hryhorec expected to take home the trophy.

The undisputed King of country features in recent years, Hryhorec has four runners in Victor Harbor's flagship event on Sunday.

Hryhorec's team includes Tweedledee and Regal Attire, which have won the two cups conducted this season.

Tweedledee secured the Fred Jones Cup at Globe Derby, while Regal Attire was victorious in last Sunday night's Kadina Trotters' Cup in Port Pirie.

Regal Attire dominated last season's circuit with wins in the Fred Jones, Strathalbyn, Ladbrokes and Victor Harbor Cups.

Coming from barrier nine during his Victor Harbor triumph in 2024, Regal Attire will begin from 10 this time around.

Tweedledee will begin from nine, with his stablemate Aldebaran Dexta drawn 11.

Hurricane Hill rounds out the Hryhorec crew from barrier five.

"I couldn't have been happier with Regal Attire's run last week when first-up from a spell," Hryhorec said. "The run has done him the world of good.

"His work has been sharper this week and he will be fitter again on Sunday.

"The draw is always a concern in any race, but I've got no doubt he is good enough to overcome it.

"My other three are all in great order and racing well, so I expect big runs from them as well."
