Central Coast & Shellharbour Local Government Areas

Following the notification from the NSW Government that the Central Coast and Shellharbour Local Government Areas (LGA’s) are now subject to the regional and rural NSW stay-at-home health orders, HRNSW advises that licensed participants residing in those LGA’s are now unable to enter Greater Sydney without a reasonable excuse.

Consequently, licensed participants located within the Central Coast LGA are now considered by HRNSW to fall within the Hunter Region.

Trainers residing within the Central Coast LGA are now able to nominate their horses for Newcastle race meetings only.

Drivers and stablehands residing within the Central Coast LGA are now able to drive and attend Newcastle race meetings only.

HRNSW will continue to monitor the advice of the NSW Government and NSW Health and take appropriate measures when required.

Any enquiries should be directed to HRNSW Stewards on (02) 9722 6655.

HRNSW management reminds all industry participants of the available industry support program.
