Coronavirus (COVID-19) - Drivers Colours

30 March 2020

To strengthen the biosecurity measures implemented by HRNSW, effective immediately, HRNSW advises that all drivers MUST only wear one set of drivers colours for all race meetings in NSW.

Under no circumstances are race colours to be shared by drivers at race meetings.

The use of Club colours will be permitted for one driver only following application and approval from HRNSW. The colours will be laundered by the conducting Club between meetings.

Drivers are required to provide the details of the race colours they intend wearing to HRNSW prior to 10.30am, two (2) days before each race meeting. This includes an application to utilise Club colours for the race meeting, if these are available.

In the event that more than one driver at a race meeting has advised of identical colours, HRNSW Stewards may supply distinguishable helmet covers which must be worn by each competing driver or provide a direction to use an alternative set of colours.
