Harness Racing Australia is delighted to announce that TAB will continue as the Naming Rights Partner of The TAB Eureka for a further two years, reaffirming its commitment to one of Australia's premier racing events.

The renewed partnership continues the successful relationship between HRA and TAB, with the race entering an exciting new chapter in 2026 following its move to an end-of-season Grand Final at Club Menangle on 21 November.

HRA Chief Executive Richard Goodbody said TAB's continued commitment was a strong endorsement of both the race and the future of Australian harness racing.

"TAB backed the vision for The Eureka from the very beginning, and we're delighted to continue this outstanding partnership for the next two years," Mr Goodbody said.

"The TAB Eureka has quickly established itself as one of the premier events on the Australian racing calendar, and TAB's ongoing support provides a strong foundation as we continue to grow the race and its profile.

"With our slot holders now confirmed and preparations well underway, there's genuine excitement building towards its new timeslot in late November.”

The announcement follows the recent confirmation of the 10 slot holders who will contest the 2026 TAB Eureka, further building anticipation for one of Australian harness racing's marquee events. The confirmed 2026 TAB Eureka slot holders are:

  • Soho Standardbreds

  • Team Zav

  • Solid Earth

  • Cordina Racing

  • Western Jewel

  • Rampant Standardbreds

  • The Don

  • Go Racing

  • Harnesslink

  • Levarg Racing Group

Tabcorp Chief Wagering Officer Michael Fitzsimons said the TAB Eureka had become part of the DNA of Harness Racing.

“We’re delighted to extend our Naming Rights partnership of this great race,” he said.

“TAB has been part of the concept since the TAB Eureka’s inception and we’ve thrown our whole omnichannel experience into promoting and growing the race across the TAB App, TAB retail and SKY.

“We take our role to invest in the industry very seriously and continuing our partnership with the TAB Eureka highlights our continued support of harness racing.”

The TAB Eureka was introduced in 2023 and has quickly become one of the sport’s signature events, showcasing Australia’s best young pacers in an innovative slot-race format.

The 2026 edition will be held on Saturday, 21 November at Club Menangle, with further announcements, including horse selections and race-day initiatives, to be made in the lead-up to the event.
