VICTORIA’S powerhouse Team Lee has confirmed just two raiders for the Queensland Constellations.

Former Inter Dominion final placegetter Keayang Stuka will be their lone runner in this trotting series, which starts with the opening round heats on Saturday night at Albion Park.

Great Southern Star heat winner and final placegetter Jilliby Dreamlover will also head north despite a shock first-up defeat at Melton last night.

She will target Saturday night’s $150,000 Group 1 Great Square.

“Yes, we’ll have just the two,” co-trainer Paddy Lee said. “Dreamlover will go. She just flattened out in the last 100m last night.

“She had a really good blow after it, but the good part was she looked nice in her gait.

“We just hope the run brings her on enough for a good race like this because we were slightly disappointed she didn’t still hold on last night.”

It was Jilliby Dreamover’s first run since finishing second to Rocknwithattitude in the Group 1 Macarthur Mile at Menangle on May 2.

Of course, Team Lee’s two biggest stars, Keayang Zahara and Jilliby Ballerini, are missing the Brisbane trip.

The team made the decision a few months back to give Keayang Zahara a decent spell and she is now back in full work.

“We’re glad she had that good break,” Paddy Lee said. “She’s come back well and is building towards a return around early September.

“Jilliby Ballerini just had a hoof issue and rather than try and work through it, the best thing for her was to give her some time out, let it grow out and start again.”
