Driver Mark Yole notched up his 900th career win in Hobart on Friday night
The feat came in the opening race aboard the Paul Hill-trained Millycent ($1.50 fav), who had been knocking on the door for a maiden win after being runner-up at her past three starts.
The five-year-old mare settled six back the pegs early, before racing in the one-one from the 1200m, proving too strong for her rivals late to score by 1.7m.
Yole has won three state driving titles, and this season he is second with 23 wins, behind Dylan Ford with 30.
Driving honours at the meeting were shared between Ethan Arnott, who won with Paziah ($14) and Moneys No Issue ($6.00), with Jordan Chibnall scoring aboard Wazowski (1.20 fav) and Mary Mourne ($1.65 fav).
Meanwhile, Tasmanian-owned pacer Max Delight ($23) claimed Friday’s $1.25 million slot race, The Nullarbor (2536m) at Perth’s Gloucester Park.
Owner Mick Maxfield from Tasmania’s north-west coast secured a slot in the race and had the horse he owns race in his slot.
The 10-year-old gelded son of Bettors Delight was positioned in the one-out one-back position by driver Will Rixon, before being produced three-wide at the 400m, sprinting home best to score by a half-neck in 1:54.9s, 0.9s outside the track record.
Max Delight was purchased by Maxfield at the 2017 APG Sydney Yearling Sale for a then record $245,000.
In his 161 starts to date, he has won 38 races.
He won three races as a two-year-old, two of those in Tasmania, including the Golden Slipper in Launceston.
At three, he joined the David Aiken stable, winning nine races including the Tasmanian and New South Wales Derbies, and Breeders Crown.
He then missed a large part of his four-year-old season due to a tendon injury before returning to the track to race at the top level.
His Nullarbor win took his prize-money earnings past $2 million.
