NOT that she's complaining, but last night's win has forced Claire Goble to alter her plans.

Looking to head interstate with handy trotter All The Trix, Goble had her sights set on a Melton event for non-metro winners.

Due to his success in the $25,000 Trotters' Cup at Globe Derby, All The Trix is no longer eligible for the target.

"I was looking at was is effectively a TM0 with him, but that's not possible now," Goble said. "I haven't got much else picked out for him and may even look for a one-win race for him at Melton at some stage.

"I'll just keep going month-to-month with him and see what comes along."

With David Smith holding the reins, All The Trix began well from his 10-metre mark to find the lead as early frontrunner, My Bad Habits, was eased to take a trail.

Forced to dig deep during the final stages, the son of Trixton staved off a late charge from Regal Attire to score by a head.

Ebonys Avenger, a Ryan Hryhorec-trained stablemate of the runner-up, was 10-and-a-half metres away third.

"He won six starts ago and has been going great since without any luck," Goble said. "He finished second in his South Australia Trotters' Cup heat and then third in the Final, so he's been very consistent.

"This time things went his way and it made a difference on the night."
