EXCITING freshman sire Legendary Hanover will add an exciting new flavour to Australia’s already strong breeding ranks.

The richest and fastest son of Huntsville starred during last year’s powerhouse three-year-old season in the US, becoming the only pacer to ever post two sub-1min47sec miles.

Legendary Hanover won the Meadowlands Pace by five lengths in a sizzling 1min46.6sec and followed it by adding the Cane Pace in a season-record 1min46.4sec.

The colt, who won six of his nine starts at two including the Dream Maker final, also added last season’s Empire Breeders Classic in a Tioga track record 1min48.2sec to his remarkable three-year-old haul.

“Legendary Hanover is very intelligent – one of the smartest horses I’ve ever been around. He possessed a flawless and powerful gait and has a huge set of lungs,” said his trainer Anthony Beaton.

Legendary Hanover will stand at Cobbitty Equine Farm for an all-inclusive service fee of $7500.
