Yole has been right on the mark the last fortnight with his tips.

Last Friday night (February 14) he drove the first three winners on the program & looks to have a handy card of drives this Friday with interstate runners Attagirl & Shoobees Spirit looking excellent chances.

9 drives across the weekend for the in-form driver, his thoughts on his drives below:

Hobart 21 February

Race 1 – Attagirl (Best of the night): Terrific win last week when leading all the way. She was fresh up from two months between runs. I really like this big strong filly; I think she has nice potential. From this draw she should be able to push forward and dictate terms. She should be winning again.

Race 2 – Dapper: Not a lot of form to go on. From this draw I will follow the fence and hope he can finish off.

Race 3 – Southern Luck: Going well, last week I felt he made up good ground after a slow tempo was set. Although there are only seven to go around, I think it’s a strong race. If I can get a forward position he should be around the mark.

Race 4 – Scrub Basher: I’m having my first drive on this guy. Not a lot of form to go on, however I thought his run here last week was a lot better. A sit sprint type who should get a nice run with cover here and wouldn’t surprise me to be in the money.

Race 6 – Shoobees Spirit: A handy run last week when running third. He had a good sit and was the only horse to make ground wide on the track. The draw is tough here but I feel he can do work in the run so he should be in the finish again.

Race 7 – Spooky Girl: A fantastic effort by this mare here last week saw her get a well-deserved win. She had the ideal run in the race and when she was challenged, she fought on like a caged lion. She loves the mile and from a similar draw I expect her to make her presence felt once again.

Launceston 23 February

Race 4 – Tough Shaz: I really like this mare. She gave me a great feel at her last start. She has great gate speed; I expect her to lead again from the perfect draw. There are a couple of handy opponents here, but I believe she will be very hard to beat.

Race 5 – Eureka Jo (Best of the night): A strong win last time out in a very fast mile rate. This mare gets into this race very well as a 78 rater. I expect to push forward early and lead, from there she should dictate the race and be winning again.

Race 8 – Iden Oliver:  A nice win last week first up for the Christian Salter stable. I was able to settle behind the leader and take full advantage of the passing lane to score the prize. A tougher race here but I do believe he should improve after that run and if I can get a good trip throughout the race, he will be right in the finish.
