2024 Tasmanian Harness Awards approaching

The standout performers of the 2024 Tasmanian harness racing year will be recognised at the 2024 Tasmanian Harness Awards, which will be held in Launceston on Friday night, 14 March.

Held at Launceston’s Country Club Casino, the night will change format from recent years, reverting to a cocktail-style evening with canapes served throughout.

Tasracing’s Matt Reid hosts the evening, with well-known Harness Racing identity and current Entain Head of Talent, Adam Hamilton, as the guest speaker.

Below are the nominees for the respective awards to be announced on the night (in alphabetical order):

Cor Comms Tasmanian 3YO Colt or Gelding of the Year

BHRC Tasmanian Mare of the Year

Vizpix Tasmanian 4YO and Older Horse of the Year

2024 Ladbrokes Horse of the Year

Faithful Park Stud Tasmanian Broodmare of the Year

In addition to the above, the Edgar Tatlow Medal, Tasracing Mini Trot Award, Leading Trainer (male and female), Leading Driver (male & female) and Leading Junior Driver will be awarded.
