Emma Stewart's unraced filly Katie Lorraine has stormed into Harness Racing Victoria's form guru Craig Rail's file after impressing on debut at the Melton trials.

"Katie Lorraine is an unraced filly by Captaintreacherous out of the classy mare Cyclone Betty (1.59.3, $68,186). She led out then took cover at the 1700m and commenced her winning run from the 600m mark. She dashed home in a sizzling final quarter of 27.2 seconds and recorded an impressive victory," Rail said.
