RISE Racing wishes to inform participants, enthusiasts, and stakeholders in the harness racing community that the new harness.org.au website has been temporarily rolled back to the original platform following a joint decision by Harness Racing Victoria (HRV), Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW), and Racing Queensland. This decision was made to address some concerns raised during the initial launch phase and ensure an optimal user experience for the community.

The new website, launched on December 10, 2024, represented a significant modernisation of the platform, aimed at enhancing user engagement and providing improved functionality. While the transition was executed seamlessly and received initial positive feedback, some users expressed challenges in adapting to the changes. Some users expressed concern over ease of navigation, accessibility to reports, and optimisation for mobile devices.

The decision to roll back was taken out of an abundance of caution and in alignment with the directives of HRV, HRNSW, and Racing Queensland. Prior to launch, RISE anticipated some resistance to change, as is common with major updates of this nature. While the issues reported were manageable and being addressed promptly, we respect the decision made by some of our key stakeholders to take a step back, review the feedback, and relaunch with greater confidence.

RISE Racing apologises for the inconvenience caused by this temporary rollback. We understand the enthusiasm and expectations surrounding the new platform and remain committed to delivering a website that meets the needs of the harness racing community.

A post-deployment review process is already underway to address the feedback received and implement necessary refinements. This review will focus on ensuring that the new website delivers an intuitive, reliable, and user-friendly experience for all participants and enthusiasts. We aim to relaunch the enhanced platform as quickly as possible and will provide updates on the timeline for its return.

The harness racing community is at the heart of everything we do, and we deeply value your support and understanding during this period of transition. RISE Racing, in collaboration with all harness racing jurisdictions, remains committed to ensuring the new harness.org.au website becomes a powerful and trusted resource for everyone involved in the sport.
