THE stars will align at the New South Wales Breeders Challenge meeting at Menangle on October 26.

Alongside the six Breeders Challenge Finals where the equine stars will shine, another highlight amongst the feature card will be the Harness Racing NSW Rising Stars.

An event previously won by some of the best in the business, the NSW Rising Stars showcases some of the strongest up-and-coming driving talent the state has to offer.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity for emerging drivers to showcase their talent,” said HRNSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman.

“It has been a stepping stone for many of our great drivers in the past and there is an array of talent amongst the drivers selected for the 2024 series, who have already achieved some remarkable feats at such young ages.

“On behalf of the HRNSW Board, we wish all the drivers luck and may the best take out the 2024 title.”

Drivers selected for the 2024 HRNSW Rising Stars are:

Jack Brown

Jemma Coney

Ashleigh Delosa

Olivia Frisby

Seaton Grima

Grace Panella

Harrison Ross

Mikayla Towers

Jett Turnbull

Lucas Rando

James Locke (EM1)

The HRNSW Rising Stars is a $20,400 penalty exempt event over the mile for pacers with a national rating of up to 95.

Drivers will be allocated to horses randomly.
