On Monday 17 June 2024, HRNSW met with members of the United Harness Racing Association (UHRA) and the Harness Racing Industry Consultation Group (HRICG).

Submissions were presented by those kindred bodies, along with additional submissions received from individuals, for consideration of HRNSW with regards to a review of the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines.

At the HRNSW Board meeting on Thursday 20 June 2024, it was resolved that a review would be conducted in relation to the HRNSW Penalty Guidelines which would be confined to Class 3 Prohibited Substances and in respect of some Training and Driving offences.

Consequently, a working group will be established for that purpose and a further update will be provided once the review has progressed.
