New Inquiries

  • 12 November 2021 – Mr Peter Hedges - HRNSW Stewards have commenced an investigation in relation to a report from the Australian Government National Measurement Institute (NMI) that Cobalt above the threshold of 100 micrograms per litre in urine was detected in the urine sample taken from;
  • MONDOS EAGLE following its win in race 5, THE PUB GROUP TAMWORTH PACE (1609 metres) conducted at Tamworth on Thursday 23 September 2021.

 

Appeal Decision

  • 12 November 2021– Mr David Reichstein appealed the decision of HRNSW Stewards to disqualify him for a period of 3 months following a breach of AHRR 190 (1), (2) & (4) for presenting JO JO ZIP to race not free of a prohibited substance in Race 5 at Canberra on Monday 9 November 2020. The appeal against penalty was upheld and a $500 fine imposed by the ACT Racing Appeals Tribunal.

 

Integrity Information

  • During the month of November, HRNSW Integrity department obtained 855 Race day samples.
