RACE 2 – CRAWLEY’S MIDDLE HOTEL TERANG 2YO MAIDEN PACE (1680MS)

Anthony Butt, stable representative of Younggiftedandblack NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had undergone blood test that revealed a low-grade virus.  Younggiftedandblack NZ will be treated accordingly before continuing with the current preparation.

RACE 3 – NEATLINE HOMES TROT (2190 MS)

Justin Livingstone, trainer of Roi Du Soleil, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had recovered well and was unable to explain the below par performance.  Roi Du Soleil will continue with the current preparation.

RACE 7 – SADDLEWORLD SHEPPARTON PACE (2190 MS)

Craig Turnbull, trainer of Jemsoms Pet, advised that after being a pre-race scratching from the event the gelding had recovered well and will be running at Geelong this Saturday night (23/10).

Ballarat – 16 October 2021

RACE 5 – VILLAWOOD PROPERTIES PACE (2200 MS)

Margaret Lee, trainer of Jilliby Chevy advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have pulled up fine.  Ms. Lee stated Jilliby Chevy has had a quiet week of training and worked well this morning. The stable will continue to monitor the gelding before continuing with the preparation.

RACE 6 – MIMOSA HOMES PACE (2200MS)

David Moran, trainer of Patsbeachstorm, advised subsequently from the event the gelding had undergone treatment for minor knee and hock injuries.  Patsbeachstorm will be given a short let up before a decision is made on the current preparation.

RACE 5 – BENDIGO POWDERCOATING 3YO PACE (2190MS)

Chris Alford, stable representative of Captain Maastricht, advised subsequently from the event the gelding was lame in the off hind.  A follow up veterinary examination revealed an abscess which has now been treated.  Captain Maastricht will be monitored by the stable and is likely to continue the current preparation.

RACE 6 – RED HOUSE BAKERY PACE (1690MS)

Adam Kelly, trainer of Rockingwithsierra, advised subsequently from the event the mare had undergone blood tests which revealed that she may have tied up.   Rockingwithsierra will be treated accordingly before a decision is made on the current preparation.

Warragul – 18  October 2021

RACE 7 – LIBERTY FINANCIAL PACE (1790MS)

Rodney Petroff, trainer of Comin In Hot, advised subsequently from the event the mare had recovered well.   Mr. Petroff stated that the mare is best suited when racing against the pegs and that Comin In Hot will continue the current preparation.
