Young driver Jack Callaghan is closing in on 100 winners for the season.

SYDNEY concession driver Jack Callaghan is experiencing his best season to date.

Climbing up the ranks quickly, he is currently rated as the fifth top driver across New South Wales.

Callaghan began driving in the 2017/18 season and since making the move from the Hunter Valley to Sydney’s south-west to work for trainer Belinda McCarthy at Cobbitty, Callaghan has increased his success.

So much so, Callaghan is three victories away from driving a century of winners this season.

His previous best result was last season where he drove 76 winners.

This term, Callaghan has been driving multiple winners at race meetings including last Saturday night at Menangle’s metropolitan meeting where he dove a treble with Uroc Skinny Jeans, Fairy Tinkabell and Aldebaran Revani.

Callaghan could reach 100 winners for the season at Menangle today with drives in six of the eight races.

The iForm panel have put together their best bets for today’s racing:

Menangle best bet

Race 2: Aldebaran Ursula (8)

Very smart 3yo filly who is likely to have a superior turn of speed in comparison to her rivals.

Menangle next best

Race 5: Bettors Hope (7)

Game last time and he looks a good chance to lead here and prove hard to catch.

Around the tracks

Albury best bet

Race 3: Rusty El (4)

Had no luck last time and this is class should suit.

Play the exotics

The Menangle quaddie

Race 5: 7,4

Race 6: 3,5,9,8

Race 7: 10,6,9

Race 8: 2,4

$64 for 100%
