The WA Government have advised that restrictions will ease in the Perth and Peel regions as planned from 12.01am, Saturday 8 May, subject to no further outbreaks. These restrictions remain in place until 12.01am, Saturday 15 May.

As part of the easing of restrictions masks are only required to be worn at WA racetracks within the Perth and Peel region, where there is more than 1,000 people on-course.

Race clubs will be responsible for determining and communicating when masks will be required to be worn on-course based on attendance numbers. Therefore, industry participants and patrons must comply with individual race club requirements.

Anyone who has been in the Perth or Peel regions since April 17, must also wear a mask on-course at WA racetracks outside of these regions where attendance numbers are over 1,000.
