Breed with Cobbitty Equine this season!

Want your foals racing for bigger prizemoney, scoring double bonuses and standing out at the yearling sales? The answer is simple: breed to a NSW Stallion at Cobbitty Equine Farm in 2025/26.

When you go Cobbitty Equine, you’re not just breeding foals - you’re breeding opportunity!

If you’re breeding for real opportunity in 2025/26, there’s no better place to start than a NSW Stallion at Cobbitty Equine Farm. Breeding to a NSW-based sire opens the door to NSW Breeders Challenge eligibility and valuable bonuses, available to both NSW and interstate breeders when the scheme requirements are met.

Why Cobbitty Equine Farm Stallion?

Our 2025/26 roster brings proven speed, commercial appeal and world-class pedigrees with trusted support and chilled/frozen options to suit your goals:

Bettors Wish • Cannibal • Confederate • For A Reason • Huntsville • King Of Swing • Perfect Sting

Plus: the Cobbitty Equine Ultra Air Classic - a two-year-old series at Club Menangle with $100,000 Finals for both colts/geldings and fillies, exclusive to only the progeny sired by a Cobbitty Equine Farm Stallion. It’s real added value for sale-ring marketing and a real boast of added prizemoney eligibility.

The Cobbitty Equine Ultra Air Classic

Cobbitty Equine Farm is the only stud in Australasia to offer breeders an exclusive race series for their Stallions progeny. The Cobbitty Equine Ultra Air Classic is a $200,000 juvenile series at Club Menangle, featuring $100,000 Finals for 2YO Colts & Geldings and 2YO Fillies.

This means that by breeding to a Cobbitty Equine Farm stallion, your foal gains extra eligibility, extra prizemoney opportunity and also extra value in the sale ring - advantages no other stud can match!

It’s our way of giving back to the industry and the breeders who support us: creating more opportunities, boosting foal value and setting your progeny apart from the rest.

The NSW advantage (in plain English):

  • NSW Breeders Challenge eligibility
Progeny are eligible when bred to a stallion registered and standing in NSW that season, provided the foal is registered in NSW or nominated for the NSW Breeding Schemes. Interstate breeders can still participate by nominating eligible foals, even if the foal is registered outside NSW (T&C’S apply).
  • Owner’s Bonus certificates on your first NSW win (race ≥ $5,000)
    • 2YO: $6,000 (or $3,000 if first win is a NR/Maiden and you weren’t in a 2YO race that day)
    • 3YO: $3,000
    • 4YO: $3,000 if no earlier bonus
    • 5YO+: $3,000 if no earlier bonus and sustained as a 2YO/3YO
(Full conditions on the NSW bred site.) nswbred.com.au
  • True Blue cash bonus (for 100% NSW Bred)
Breed a 100% NSW Bred foal (stallion domiciled in NSW, mare served in NSW, foal born & registered in NSW) and collect an additional $3,000 cash bonus on the first NSW win as a 2YO or 3YO.
  • NSW Breeders Challenge Blue - Extra opportunities for 100% NSW Bred progeny from mares served in NSW by a NSW-based stallion, with the foal born in NSW and notified to HRNSW.
  • Colonial Stallion Bonus
Don’t forget the Colonial Stallion Bonus: $500 payable by HRNSW upon a live foal to the Foal Nominator when bred to an eligible colonial stallion. King Of Swing and For A Reason qualify for this bonus.

What this means if you’re breeding interstate - BOOM: DUAL STATE!

Why settle for one bonus scheme when you can cash in on two?
By breeding to a Cobbitty Equine Farm NSW stallion, you’re not just keeping your program humming at home - you’re unlocking double the opportunity:

  • NSW Breeders Challenge Pathway - Simply nominate your foal and you’re in the mix for rich NSW prizemoney and bonuses.
  • Your Home State Bonuses Too - QBRED, Vicbred, Westbred… stack them with NSW eligibility for a dual-state windfall.
  • Sale Ring Gold - Yearlings carrying dual-state eligibility stand out, bringing buyers an irresistible value-add.

Cobbitty Equine Farm Stallions - built for sale-ring appeal and racetrack upside!

From King Of Swing (triple Miracle Mile champion) to next-generation sires like Cannibal and Confederate, plus proven performers Huntsville, Bettors Wish and For A Reason, our roster blends Group 1 performance with commercial sirelines.
