Race 1:

 

OVERVIEW: CALDERS REVENGE (1) is very honest and is so close to a win having been runner up at four of her past five starts. Gets every chance here. COLTRANE (4) was heavily backed to start a short price favourite but did plenty wrong. Has ability but needs to trot throughout. Take on trust. METRO SWISH (2) 6yo trotter lightly raced, runner up at her first start and worked too hard last start. Has claims. SOME DAYS WE DREAM (3) improving type that can continue to improve and must be included amongst the chances. DUNS BOY (10) interesting runner resuming since December 2024 when doing plenty wrong. Has shown some ability at the trials and a forward showing would not surprise. MOONSHINE LOUIE (8) and WEDGE TAIL EAGLE (9) get nice trailing draws and have ability and are not out of this.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: FREAK OUT (6) good effort last start when placed and strikes a suitable race here despite the wide draw and can fight out the finish. FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (9) honest pacer that is never far away. Gets a nice trailing draw and might prove hard to hold out. LILNOVA (2) battled on well last start and gets a favourable draw and is a likely improver. SKADI (7) has been amongst the placings in recent starts but faces a wide draw and must be included amongst the main chances. ENABLE ME (5) THE ACCIDENTAL ONE (10) and SALSBOY (11) are likely improvers and haven’t been far away, with suitable trips are capable of being in the placings.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: TACTICALLY PERFECT (13) is a nicely bred 2yo that has been trialling well and hails from the powerful Lee stable. Faces a very tough draw but might have the ability to overcome it. Definite chance. STAY CLEAN (1) 4yo mare with good pedigree and is showing ability at the trials. Drawn well and expect a forward showing. WHIRILY MAURZ (9) gets a nice trailing draw and hasn’t been far away. One of the main chances. NAMELA (2) first up and can improve on figure form, drawn nicely and can run well fresh, don’t ignore. ROCKNROLL COWBOY (4) placed at both starts and has further scope for improvement, WICKED ONE (6) first starter and shows ability and has claims, IM THE REASON (12) improving type that has ability but draws poorly.

Race 4:

 

OVERVIEW: DONA AMALIA (9) gets a nice trailing draw and rarely runs a poor race. Has raced well on the track and is one of the main chances. Both CHAMPAGNES (3) and POPPY POPSTAR (2) have drawn favourably and are last start winners. Expect strong showings from both runners. WAIKARE ADRIENNNA (8) broke through for an overdue win last start after some encouraging performances. Just needs some luck to be finish. SNICKERS EXPRESS (10) has been teasing for a while and has claims. GOLDEN SKIES (4) NOBLE COUNT (5) and OOPZEE DAIZEE (7) have front line draws and capable of running well but face awkward draws.

Race 5:

 

OVERVIEW: IM EDDIE (7) is a lightly raced trotter that is better than his figure form reads and will strip fitter for this. Can improve and is worthy of an each way chance. ME AND ZAC (6) a winner two starts ago and hasn’t been far away and is one of the main chances. HURRICANE KATIE (9) is a talented mare that was first up and did things wrong when resuming. Does have good ability when right and can bounce back here. ALDEBARANHARLEQUIN (8) lightly raced filly that shows plenty of promise and was excellent winning last start by leading, faces a second row draw here and if the breaks go her way, she’s a winning chance again. ACOOL INVESTMENT (10) is a trotter with good ability and resumes here. Hasn’t raced for over two years and her most recent trial suggests she can run well. HESTUFFENOUGH (2) finally broke through for his first win, has ability and might go on with it. Both KEAYANG MINNESOTA (4) and LOW LIE THE FIELDS (3) have ability but proven to be unreliable. At their best they can run well, take on trust.

Race 6:

 

OVERVIEW: SHIRALEE (3) capable mare that caught the eye last start with a strong late finish. Expect a good showing here. BOND GIRL (9) going well and finished off well to win last start and can threaten again here. SOAR (10) is never far away and is very honest. Can run well. NO EMOTION (11) capable pacer when right, fitter here, locally trained and expect improvement. Both PRINCESS ARNA (4) and ATOMIC GLORY (5) have early speed and can take up forward positions and should be in this for a long way. THE DEMOCRAT (7) is racing well but faces a wide draw. Needs luck but has claims.

Race 7:

 

OVERVIEW: ELCHEAPO CLAIRE (5) has been placed at her past three starts and is bursting to win. Drawn to be handy and can fight out the finish. BACKSTAGE PASS (10) won at his race debut in October, resumes here and shows good ability and expect a strong showing again. KYRGIOS (6) capable pacer that has been close of late and is amongst the chances. COLORADO GIRL (9) broke through for an overdue win last start and from the nice trailing can figure in the finish again. Both ROCKY ROCKS (11) and IM THE WILD ONE (12) have challenging draws but are racing well along with AMADA VILLMA (4) that showed improvement last start and all must be respected.

Race 8:

 

OVERVIEW: NICE ONE CENTURION (9) should follow through nicely from the second line and has been racing against stronger company. Looks well placed to be in the finish. WICHITA KANSAS (2) is very honest and rarely runs a poor race and is one of the main chances. Expect a good showing. WAZOWSKI (3) honest filly that is finding it hard to win but continues to race well. Gets another chance here. ILLAWONG PHOENIX (1) will appreciate the pole position draw and can race handy. Runner up two starts ago and is a definite chance. RANDOM MAHONEY (4) is very consistent and never far away and can make his presence felt again. ADMIRALOFTHEFLEET (13) in excellent form but faces a challenging draw and is up in class. Must be respected. JAMES GARNER (11) is first up and can run well fresh and is a place and first four hope.

OVERVIEW: JOE GOT ROLLED (9) should be at peak fitness and gets a lovely trailing draw. Has been racing against stronger company and should prove hard to hold out. CELESTIAL ZODIAC (11) racing in great form and excellent run last start and looks a threat. MONTANA PRIDE (8) is a good sit and sprint pacer that will get a nice smother and if the breaks come his way he’s a winning chance. LOMBOK (7) was a last start winner but faces a wide draw but must be respected. BLACKMIRRA (1), JILLIBY KYMY LOU (2), MACK PACK (3) and CITY ROCKSTAR (4) have early speed to race handy and should be in this for a long way. CLEAR LEFT (13) capable type that is always running on late. Tough draw to overcome but has claims. WICKED MITZI (10) in good form and has claims but has an awkward draw.
