OVERVIEW: CAITHNESS LADY (6) has been around the placegetters in recent months, and this looks an ideal race for her to break her maiden status. Expect a strong showing. RASENGAN (2) was kept safe in the market at his race debut and wasn’t far away. Sure, to have benefited from that experience and will come on from that run. Must be respected. ZIPTIE (1) could be an improving type with recent racing and from the pole position draw will get every chance. WALLIS (5) CRESCO CASHFLOW (4) HEART OF GRACELAND (7) are improving types and come under consideration.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: WHATS THE TEA (9) races well in this class and looks well placed to be in the finish again from the nice trailing draw. One of the main chances. Stable mate AGAINST THE BRIDLE (4) didn’t have the best of luck last start and is never far away. Must be respected. BLACKGRANGE GLORY (8) had a recent change of stables and did things wrong last start. Very capable of showing big improvement here. Both KARAS DREAM (2) and TETRA (5) have early speed that can race handy and are amongst the chances. Stablemates MACHO MAORI (6) and MAORI FRANKLIN (7) can measure up here if they can trot throughout and neither would surprise.

OVERVIEW: CAPTAIN GRAYWOOD (6) was runner up when resuming and will strip much fitter for that performance. Strikes a very winnable race and just needs to bring his best manners and should prove hard to beat. YOU GOT ME GOOD (8) narrowly beaten when first up and shows good ability. Can run well here and threaten. ONETWOSKIPPERFEW (7) quirky trotter with ability but can do plenty wrong. Sure to be storming home if she can produce her best manners. Both TOUCHANDGO (3) and DA PREZ (5) have claims and are amongst place and first four hopes.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: JESSICAS STORY (8) comes into this race with the only good most recent form and if she trots throughout, she will be hard to hold out. RIGHT OF REPLY (10) has been struggling to find his best form but can be an improver amongst these. SURPRISE TO ME (2) UNSPOKEN LOVE (1) XIAOBO (4) have nice draws to take up forward positions and will receive every chance in a winnable race whilst JAHBELLA (6) resumes and does have the scope to beat these if she is anywhere near right first up. Keep safe.

Race 5:
OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN CAMPBELL (7) capable trotter on his day and has raced against stronger opposition. Suited here and freshened up for this. Can run well. ROMANTIC NINA (4) continues to mx her form and was good winning last start when well supported. One of the main chances again. CADENCE LANE (1) continues to tease without winning and was travelling well last start, but the breaks didn’t go her way. Ideally drawn and gets another chance. Both ABBIE (2) and THE VICARS GIRL (5) finished off strongly last start and expect the same again here and must be respected. CASA ALBERTA (6) a winner two starts ago and wasn’t far away last start and is amongst the hopes whilst MAUDARCHY (3) is a place and first four chance.

OVERVIEW: MADAME KELLY (8) both runs since arriving from South Australia have been excellent. Going well and this race looks ideal. Hard to hold out. SALSKI (7) talented mare with good ability and rarely runs a poor race. Definite threat. YOU NO ILL BE LATE (9) last few runs have been very good and back to the stand here where he does have a strong record. Can be taken lightly. BENNIE AND THE JETS (3) former Kiwi that does have his share of quirks but is progressive. At his best, he’s amongst the chances. Both SONARMI JOH (6) and NIGHT WHISPERER (2) are very honest and always give their best and are amongst the place and first four hopes.

TICTOK (1) quirky mare resuming but has plenty of ability. Can run well fresh. WHOS THE MAN (8) better run last start, and his stand form is very good. Can run well. MILEICKI (3) is always an opportunist in these types of races and sure to be storming home late. HES THE MIGHTYSPIN (4) racing well and has claims.

COUNTESS CHIRON (1) drawn well and does have the early speed to be prominent and will get every chance. AI SEDHAI (6) will strip fitter for her first up run when placed after a long break and must be respected. RASTAMON (8) is amongst the place and first four hopes from the trailing draw. DAISY BOUCHEA (4) is never too far away and is amongst the place hopes.

Change of stables and has shown ability. Might run well here. MONTANA MUSCLE (1) not far away last start and was doing her best work late. Drawn well and is amongst the chances. SHIELD MAIDEN (2) resumes here and has had a change of stables. Drawn nicely and has raced well here in the past. Might run well fresh. COL DU GRANON (6) broke through for a well deserved win last start and must be respected. Both CHRISTMAS BABE (4) and BROOKIES BABE (5) have early speed and can give good sights whilst KYVALLEY MUGSY (7) TINEY (10) and NUCLEAR ATTITUDE (9) are place and first four hopes.
