Race 1:

 

OVERVIEW: LITTLEBLABBAMOUTH (3) speedy mare that races well over the sprint trip and does have the gate speed to race handy. Might take some catching. EPIC ORION (1) gets a nice draw here to enjoy a soft trip and get every chance. Can show improvement here. WINGATE GUY (5) extremely unlucky last start and looks ready to win again. A definite chance. LORIMERMAJOR (6) consistent pacer that was narrowly beaten last start is racing well without winning. Last win was back in February and is well overdue for another win. LUBERBOY (8) drawn to get a soft trip along the pegs and if the openings come his way, he will be getting home strong.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: JERSEY SAM (8) was brave in defeat at Kilmore and was narrowly beaten. Faces a second row draw here and if the breaks come his way, he can fight out the finish. HAND WRITER (9) strips fitter after two runs back from a break and gets a nice trailing draw. Expect her to be running on strongly. AMBER ALERT (5) has shown speed in the past and if she can produce her best she can be in it for a long way. SELF EXCLUSION (7) races best in this class but needs to overcome a wide draw. Both THE DUX (4) and GO GEORGE GO (3) resume here and create interest. Both suited and their best form can have them in the finish. Do not dismiss.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: HOME AND DRY (8) is getting fitter with each run and hasn’t enjoyed the best of racing luck in recent starts and if the breaks go his way he can figure in the finish. HAIR RAZOR (10) tried hard from back in the field last start and this race suits. A definite threat.  PAIGETHEHURRIKANE (6) and ATOMIC GLORY (2) have the gate speed to be well placed and can be in this for a long way. OLLY ODD POTTS (4) is never far away and is one of the chances. Speedsters ROYAL EDARD (7) strips fitter from his first up run but needs to overcome a wide draw.

OVERVIEW: LOMBOK (2) both race starts have been very encouraging and gets a favourable draw to be right in this finish. One of the main chances. ANOTHER PUDDIN (10) has been fancied in the market at both starts this campaign and looks well placed here to be a major chance. WATCHING OVER US (6) improving type that must be respected despite the wide draw. MY UPTOWN GIRL (5) fitter here and has claims whilst RUNNING IN CIRCLES (1) LILSTREPO (3) and RALTED (9) can show improvement and are amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 5:

 

OVERVIEW: OBSYDIAN (4) is a first starter in the astute stables of Michael Gadsden that shows promise and strikes a suitable race for his race debut and expect a forward showing. CAT EATOVERS (7) resumes here and has trialled up well for this and expect a forward showing fresh. GOODTIME MAE (6) is racing well and finished off well last start. Definite chance. WALTZING WITH NANA (1) draws well and will strip fitter and get every chance. ALAMO (5) is still a maiden after 20 starts but has been placed on many occasions. Place again. Stable runners LORINO (9) and BALLADORO (11) performed well last start and are working up to a win and don’t dismiss.

Race 6:

 

OVERVIEW: LENIU (7) unbeaten from two starts for outstanding juvenile preparer Ian Ward. Smart type and expect a big showing again despite the wide draw.  CAPTAIN GROOVE (1) is a lovely bred youngster having his first Victorian start and draws ideally and can fight out the finish. SHAZZA LOVE (3) talented filly that has a good turn of speed. Drawn well and is knocking on the door for a win. RUMPELSTILTSKIN (8) capable 3yo that will strip fitter for his first up run and if the breaks come his way, he will be storming home. KITSUNE (4) strong effort to win last start after some solid performances. One of the chances again. HALF PRICE BRIDE (9) resumed and wasn’t far away and does have her share of ability. Fitter and don’t dismiss.

OVERVIEW: CITY ROCKSTAR (5) 3yo filly that has been racing very well and looks well placed here to take up a forward position and can fight out the finish. CREDULOUS (7) made up plenty of ground in a fast last half last start and just needs some racing luck from the wide draw to be a major threat. OZZIE PUNTA (8) good effort to win last start and from the trailing draw is one of the main chances. Stable mates MAJOR MAL (1) and ROCCO AMERICANO (3) have nice draws and are amongst the winning chances. BLISSFULL STRIDE (6) is a first four hope.

OVERVIEW: BUBBY TO BASE (5) underrated filly that should be primed after two runs back from a spell and strikes a suitable race. One of the main chances. PETE MITCHELL (1) has been in good form and gets the plum pole position draw and can give a big sight again. BETTER SAINT (2) placed at his past three starts and from the draw can figure in the finish. ROYAL SAXON (8) talented pacer when right and resumes here from a good trailing draw and must be respected. FEEL THE REIGN (7) has strung together some excellent performances and can never be dismissed.

OVERVIEW: FREMONT STREET (2) finished off strongly to win last start and draws well here and looks one of the major chances. MARKLEIGH CAZ (7) was too strong for her opposition last start and can threaten again despite the wide draw. FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (6) racing well and was narrowly beaten last start and this is a winnable race. Can win!  CONSPIRATOR (4) a winner two starts ago and was unplaced last start. Can improve here from the draw. Has claims.  MICTON MOUSE (8) disappointed last start but was a winner at his prior start. Worthy of another chance.
