OVERVIEW: SKYFALL BENCHMARK (2) resumes here but does possess his share of talent and early speed. Drawn well and expect a big showing fresh. WITH IN REASON (3) has been impressive winning at his past two starts and is on the up. Looks a threat again. RIVEERA (6) going well and racing against stronger opposition. Drawn wide but is a definite chance. HES LETHAL (7) smart pacer when right, strips fitter but drawn wide. Must be respected. HIGHVIEW HAMMER (1) RED SHORES (5) VICTORTHEINFLICTOR (8) and OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (4) all have ability and are amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: LILSTREPO (2) has been racing in excellent form and draws well to be prominent. Open race with plenty of depth. One of the main chances. I AM ON THERUN (4) racing well and working up to a win. Definite chance along with another in-form pacer ALTA BAYAMO (5).  INTRUSION (6) creates great interest arriving from Bathurst whilst SPECTA (7) joins the astute Lisa Pitt stable, both runners can play a major part here. BRINGUSJOY (9) is underrated and is going well against arguably stronger company. Not out of this. ALIZA HILL (1) has been down in figure form but is a speedster suited by the draw and distance. Can be in this for a long way whilst LOCHIEL LAD (8) will follow through nicely and enjoy a soft trip and can’t be ignored. ZIEGFELD (3) is racing against stronger company and can improve.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: HOME AND DRY (8) consistent horse that draws to get a soft trip and if the openings appear he will be running on strongly. One of the main chances.  OHHEMMJAY CRESCO (1) can improve from the pole position draw and can settle in a handy position to get every chance. TOPHUT JOHNY (4) experienced pacer that can show improvement in this and is amongst the chances. FEEL THE KNIGHT (5) improved run last start and has claims here along with THE MAJORS GIRL (7) that faces a wide draw. FOUR STARZZZ RUBY (2) ROLL THE ACES (3) WHERES WOOD WOOD (6) NORTHERN TERROR (9) and AMBER ALERT (10) have all shown ability and with suitable trips can figure.

OVERVIEW: SAMMY HALLER (9) has been working up to a win, and recent efforts have been very encouraging for a race of this class. A major chance in this. FARSTAR (8) has been runner up at four of his past five starts. Can fight out the finish again. ALDEBARAN ZANE (3) interesting runner that resumes and has had a change of stables. Heavily backed at all five starts to date. Has previously shown good ability at the trials and can play a major part in this. MI BOW (7) is very honest and has claims. First starters SAYAPRAYERFORME (6) and ROLY HINSON (4) are debutantes that have place and first four claims.

OVERVIEW: PIASTRI (1) both runs to date have been encouraging and from the pole position will get every chance. Each way. EEBEEBEE (3) has been placed at her past two starts and should be prominent throughout and can fight out the finish. HEZAFLASHONE (5) disappointed last start but prior form was solid for a race of this class and is worthy of another chance. WICKED CONFESSION (4) FULL CRUNCH AHEAD (6) and THE TRAWLER (2) are debutantes in the barns of very respected trainers that are sure to be well educated and prepared and must be respected. BERYLS BOOTS (7) is a first four hope.

OVERVIEW: BENNIE AND THE JETS (1) had plenty of admirers when winning last start and should be at peak fitness for his hometown trotters cup. Might give them something to chase here! EL CONQUEROR (4) talented trotter that has been very competitive in this class and is a major threat again. KINGS GUARD (8) a great result for the Boyington and Scouler family by winning the Gunbower trotters cup last start. Smart horse at his best and can’t be ruled out here despite the handicap. AVANT GUARD (7) quirky trotter however on his day is very good. Did things wrong lats start but capable of bouncing back here. Must include. FAITH FULL (5) a winner two starts ago in the Horsham trotters cup and did things wrong last start. At her best, she’s a definite chance. FROSTY GIRL (2) good win last start and must be respected again. RAPID RETURN (6) strips fitter and has ability. Can improve.

SETTLE THE BILL (8) capable mare that wasn’t far away last start and just needs to find an opening to figure in the finish. I AM HARRO (4) had plenty of admirers last start and was close when placed. Drawn well from the front line and is a definite chance. KENNYWOULD (7) improving type that can’t be dismissed and has claims despite the wide draw. AT THE DISTANCE (6) LINDY GRACE (9) WALLIS (3) NIGHT SKY (5) CMON CARL LEE (11) and IVAR (1) all have ability and are amongst the place and first four hopes.

BIG BAD OSSIE (6) talented pacer resuming and is proven in this class. Runner up in this race early this year behind a smart type. Sure to be primed for this and is a major winning chance. LA CAVALLETTA (9) promising 3yo that was a last start winner and arrives from NSW for this race. Can threaten. Both HERAKLES (8) and ALWAYSBEALADY (10) have been racing against good opposition and must be respected. MERRYWOOD PAUL (4) and GOOD TOBE LOCKSLEY (3) are capable pacers that will be prominent and have claims.
