RISE Racing has confirmed a recent cybersecurity incident that affected access to its central racing management platform, Harvey.  The incident, detected in mid-May, was the result of unauthorised system access by an external threat actor.

RISE promptly enacted its response plan, secured the system, and restored services shortly after the event.  No evidence has been found to suggest any compromise of core racing or participant records, but investigations remain ongoing.

An independent forensic review is underway, and RISE has notified relevant authorities, including privacy regulators.  Law enforcement has also been engaged.

RISE is working closely with all jurisdictions and is urging participants to be vigilant and take standard precautions against online threats.  If any personal data is confirmed to have been affected, those individuals will be contacted directly.

The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to data protection and the uninterrupted delivery of racing services.  Further updates will be made as new information becomes available.  For further enquiries, please contact RISE Racing at cybersecurity@riseracing.com
