Harness Racing NSW advises all licensed participants that 2024 licence renewals are now available via individual HarnessWeb accounts.

A discount of $10 is applicable to all Trainers and Drivers who renew between now and 31 October 2023.

As the new season commences on 1 January 2024, renewals are due no later than 30 November 2023. Renewals submitted after this date may be impacted by staff annual leave and public holidays and may not be processed prior to the commencement of the 2024 season.

Medical Assessments must be submitted by email to licensing@hrnsw.com.au before renewals will be approved, including ECG Stress Test results (where applicable).

Additionally, as HRNSW have not updated licensee photographs en masse since 2018, all renewing licensees are required to submit a suitable digital head and shoulders photo, which can either be uploaded as part of the HarnessWeb renewal process, or by emailing a photo to licensing@hrnsw.com.au (ensuring that the email identifies to whom the photo belongs).

Renewals submitted without a suitable photograph will not be finalised until such photo has been made available.

Other key points associated with the 2024 renewal process are as follows:

  • All Trainers are required to provide the Property Identification Code (PIC) associated with their nominated stabling address.  If you do not have a PIC for your property, you will need to apply for one (details are included in the following document;
  • Any Driver that did not undertake a Cognitive Test in 2022 or 2023 (year to date) will be required to undertake a Cognitive Test before being issued with a 2024 licence.

A copy of the Requirements & General Notes associated with the 2024 renewals is available at the following link: 2024 Licence Renewals
