Fairy Tinkabell

Last start feature winner Fairy Tinkabell is favourite to add another Group race to her record.

The Belinda McCarthy-trained mare is the main fancy in tonight’s Group 3 Ranji Bill Ladyship Stakes at Menangle despite drawing the second widest barrier.

Known for her blistering gate speed, Fairy Tinkabell has been campaigning in Queensland where she won the Queen Of Hearts feature at Albion Park with driver Jack Callaghan.

The reinsman will drive the mare again tonight while McCarthy’s other pacer in the feature, The Honey Queen, will be driven by Luke McCarthy.

The latter has not driven since July 23 and has three drives tonight at Menangle.
